Absolutely gorgeous campsite. Looked full however after phoning a very polite lady managed to fit us in. Showers are free and lovely and warm. Able to fill up water and empty toilet. Amazing views and great value for money. Beach on your doorstep, can see the Islands from the sliding door. Great night
We have just left after spending a third visit to this wonderful little campsite. The access to the beach is great, the sunsets are amazing. Joyce the owner is very pleasant and helpful. We will return.
A campsite right next to the beach with gorgeous views out on to the islands. Very secluded and peaceful. Excellent value for money at the price we paid. Host that was available in the event of any issues. Will be returning! Restrooms: Toilet and shower facilities available. They didn't just look clean, they *smelled* clean in a nice way, not a strong disinfectant way. Very impressed. Individual shower cubicles so guarantee of privacy.
The most idyllic campsite, on Earth? Perhaps. Basic, all-anyone-needs facilities tho could do with a waste water disposal for motorhomes ensures that this campsite is no blot on the fabulous landscape. We will be back, hopefully soon.
Booked on short notice and managed to get a plot. One of the nicest campsites we stayed at during our 3 day trip of Scotland
Stunning campsite. Right on the beach and we overlooked the sea. Lovely to go somewhere easy going and stunning views. Facilities 2 showers with loos and 2 additional loos. Good elsan and grey waste. We had big wind so had to cut short but can imagine on a decent day, stunning. Joyce really helpful. Will come back. Spectacular scenery.
Lovely quiet site, pitches super close to the beach. Watching the sunset is a must when staying, as seeing it reflect on the sea is a wonderful sight. There are also a few cottages to stay in a 4 bed and 6 bed. They are slightly further away from the beach but less than a 1 minute walk.
I am just writing a review for Joyce at invercaimbe caravan sight. Although I ended up not staying, though unfortunate circumstances. She went above and beyond, before our holiday in booking a beach side pitch as staying for our 25th anniversary. But also when we had to cancel the night before our stay due to unforseen circumstances, Joyce refunded our money even though she could not re-rent the pitch out. What a kind gesture thanks again Joyce we will definitely be booking in the future. X
Motorhome to beach- 10 steps. Perfect!
Fantastic campsite location, with easy entry to the Skerries from the river at low tide or directly into the sea at high tide. Brilliant. Very well kept grounds and wash facilities. The owner is a fantastic cook! Bought enormous portions of Lemon Drizzle cake and Carrot cake. Genuinely the best we've ever eaten! Right from the farm front shop.
