My mum gets 3 hours "Take a break" care a week from Hants provided by Advantage to look after my Dad. It's a life saver and Sue who usually comes is an absolute Angel and she alone would get 5 stars! But Advantage management and/or admin is very poor, less than 1 star, which drags their review down. When Sue can't make it there is never anyone else they can find to cover. They always promise to ring back and hardly ever do and when you call to chase, they fob you off. When my Mum asks for the hours she missed the following week they have never once organised substitute cover. I don't know if they just do this on the care they provide for the council but it's so disappointing when their service is so crucial.
