The ricotta is incredible. because of some people's incorrect reviews, I waited all week to come back on Saturday and get it, but fresh ricotta is actually available every day update: I don't know why so many people describe the people who work here as rude. everyone I've met has been incredibly nice to me, I come about twice a week
this is real cheese made my real Italians! I am happy that this little GEM is so close... people talk about the JUNCTION and the great little GEMs there...well this place was here before the JUNCTION was the JUNCTION...anyway...best cheese in TOWN..hands down, quality, price and the nicest people! keep up the great work!
It is a must shop as the Santa Lucia mozzarella is cheaper as they produce it there. You can find other cheeses and delicatessen that are Italian and from other European countries. Staff is very nice and welcoming.
If you've found International Cheese, you've found cheese heaven. This incredible place has a cheese making factory in the back and serves you tubs of mouthwatering still warm just made ricotta cheese. They also make mozzarella and other awesome cheeses that you can buy freshly made and if you are lucky you may be able to get a hold of their freshly made Buratta that flys off the shelves. They also bring in Italian cheeses and spreads that you can't find elsewhere. Trust me... you'll love this hidden Stockyards gem.
Award winning FRESH HOT RICOTTA that's an absolute creamy delight to eat straight, especially when it's still hot. They make their cheeses on the premises, with milk trucks arriving often to deliver. Santa Lucia is still old school italian. They also sell quality anchovies in large jars, and trays of fresh farm eggs in the fridge. Service is efficient but can be openly impatient to newcomers. The quality of their products is worth the occasional juvenile rolling of the eyes.
