I cannot praise Paul Edmonds professionalism and helpfulness enough. He helped us persuade our Insurance company to honour their policy with us and pay reasonable costs to effect repairs. Until Paul's involvement the insurance company spent 7 weeks being unethical, unhelpful, slow and evasive. Within 48 hours of Paul's involvement they had met our original claim in full. I had a fire in one of my tenanted properties, 4 months before new tenants were supposed to take over and didn't really know what I was going to do as I know insurance claims can be a very slow process, so I got in touch with Paul and it was the best decision I could possibly have made. He took over absolutely everything, I didn't need to speak to the insurance company once or fill out any paperwork. A huge value of his service is that he will spot things that need to be sorted that I certainly wouldn't have known about or claimed for. An example was the en suite was covered in soot from smoke, I would have just cleaned off the tiles and not claimed for that, but he pointed out that the smell would be embedded in the grout which you'd never get rid of, the plaster could well be damaged from the water which would create problems with the tiles falling off at a later date and the whole lot would need to be stripped out. that saved me a lot of future problems. He's clearly well known and well respected in the industry as the loss adjustor from the insurance company was on friendly terms with him and given his workload he seemed very happy to be dealing with Paul knowing that he'd put in a sensible claim that would more than likely get waved through without too much arguing from the insurance company. I went for the option where Paul would instruct his own builders as it was a massive job, and quite frankly I didn't want to go to the hassle of trying to find my own builders who might not even be able to do the job in time, but I'd have to pay out of my own pocket while I waited for an insurance payout to come through. The house was in a terrible state, not only was the loft conversion completely gutted by fire but the water had run through the ceilings down to the ground floor. Paul used a company called Edulis Group and they absolutely worked their socks off on a 3 storey house because they knew I was on a very tight schedule and they were absolutely brilliant and so helpful and the quality of the workmanship was superb. In short, the fire happened in April and By August when the new tenants were ready to move in I had what effectively looked like a brand new house, even the council who deal with HMO licencing, and the university accommodations officer couldn't quite believe the turnaround and were impressed with what was achieved I had the lost rent in my bank account and hadn't had to spend a penny on anything . Having heard horror stories about how long it takes for insurance companies to pay out I am convinced that if I'd tried doing it myself I'd probably still be waiting to get it done and would have settled for a much lower payout than I would have needed to get the job done properly. I highly recommend ICS, I hope I don't have to use the services of ICS again, but if the situation arose I'd be straight back, it's a no-brainer.
Excellent service and commitment from Paul after we suffered collateral damage from a neigbours fire. Axa insurance sent out a BVS assessor who was next to useless and wanted a handshake there and then without fully taking into account the damage or losses, 1 year 11 months later and we are fully repaired and have replacements for the loss of items – all thanks to Paul and the fact he never gave up on us.
We cannot thank Paul enough for his expertise and positivity. He has helped guide us through what was initially a very painful and emotionally draining process with our insurance claim.
We used ICS/Paul Edmonds to assist with a leak which has caused a lot of damage to our property. We felt with such a big job we needed someone professional to liaise between us and our insurance company and we are very pleased that we did. The Insurers and/or their contractors in their evaluations missed out lots of things which the un-trained eye would not know but Pauls experiences picked these items up as missing from the estimated and added them to our claim to ensure when the time came for the re-build we had sufficient money to cover it. Due to this the figure achieved was substantially more than we would have received if we had not used ICS therefore we know we have sufficient funds for the re-build. With ICS's professionalism, experience and attention to detail we would not hesitate in using them again
I appointed Paul Edmond's to handle a very complex insurance claim that I didn't feel would reach a satisfactory end had I managed it myself. Paul is undoubtedly an insurance claim expert thanks to his years of experience and contacts within the industry. He is highly professional, persistent and was successful in getting a good settlement from the insurer for the claim. The claim management fee is fair and worth every penny in my opinion. ICS was highly recommended to me by a friend and I am happy to highly recommend ICS to others who may read this review. Thank you Paul, you definitely took the stress out an unfortunate situation.
We had an extensive leak from old piping in the cement floor of our utility room. We called our insurance company straight away who told us to get the leak stopped and then they would assess the damage from there. Because we didn’t have any experience or knowledge in insurance claims or the time! we decided to enlist the help of Paul from Insurance Claim Solutions who was excellent, very professional and very thorough in dealing with us and our insurance company. He took care of everything. Our insurance company paid out and the utility room was back up and running in no time.
Paul Edmonds dealt with a sizeable insurance claim following a major water leak. We found him to be absolutely excellent!! He was friendly, helpful, supportive and professional. He took the stress out of the situation completely. Couldn't recommend him highly enough!!
I called Paul and ICS in to help me with my claim for water damage. The whole ground floor was flooded and I was not confident in dealing with Aviva on my own. Aviva had made some significant early mistakes and only through his professionalism and hard work were we able to secure what we felt was fair.  Cannot recommend Insurance Claim Solutions enough. I was kept up to date and in the loop on all decisions. It was a slog but thanks Paul!!!
Ross from ICS was an angel in a situation that was hairy and difficult with lots of complications. He was a great advisor, quick, and helpful. I added him to my Christmas card list because he made a bad few months for me a lot less stressful than they could have been had I tried to deal with it all by myself. I'd recommend ICS to anyone who thinks they might need help dealing with a house insurance claim and all the works related to that.
