This was my first time visiting Inkfish as I usually visit another salon at home, staff were welcoming and chatty, however the haircut wasn't up to standard. a shaped piece was cut in around my face which doesn't sit properly and wasn't graduated into my hair. It hangs like a shelf instead. I also can't tie my hair back without this falling out because it's too short. I've also noticed that my layers aren't sitting properly anymore and upon straightening my hair, noticed that they're very bitty and I can see each individual layer and not natural looking at all when in the past my layers have been so natural you could barely see them. My once lovely thick hair now looks thin and wispy because of the layers. When pushed back over my shoulders, I've also noticed that the ends of my hair are uneven. I also felt, due to the fact that I was in and out of the salon in less than 30 minutes when I'm used to being at least an hour, that there wasn't much care taken. Now have to wait two months for an appointment at my regular hairdresser to have it fixed.

Very disappointed. Possibly the worst haircut I’ve ever had. My hair is all uneven- the 2 sides are different lengths and the back looks like a basin cut- no attempt to blend and graduate the layers in my short pixie-style bob. No amount of styling or products will help the cut lie properly, and it’s nothing close to the photo I provided. I don’t wish to go back to Inkfish to rectify the problems, as I’m not confident the stylist knows what she’s doing to have created such a mess of my hair in the first place.

I like this hairdressers as it feels fresh and open. From the hostess who greets you to my own excellent hairdresser I felt pampered and perfectly at ease. Happy to recommend to both young and old..
