I love this place because it isn’t just the typical dishes you usually find. We ended up ordering multiple dishes even though we were not very hungry. We enjoyed them so much, we felt they were worth tryingFood: 5/5
Firstly - the food. Extremely tasty. Every dish was executed to perfection and the flavour really came through. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Made me feel like I was visiting good friends for lunch! Would definitely come back
My partner and I walked in without a reservation on a Friday night around 6:30 and were able to get a table. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavours were amazing and the spice level was just right. We were warned that the main dishes we were getting were “very hot” by the server, but we didn’t think it was overly spicy, maybe for some people it is. The server we had maybe the manager? seemed a little distracted when serving us with people coming through the door or what the other staff were doing but it didn’t hinder our experience that much. Would recommend when looking for quality Indian food on this side of London! P.s if you love goats cheese and coriander then definitely get the goats cheese starter!
We had a nice food in Indian Zing. Delicious! Taste, texture and aroma everything was perfect. Highly recommend to try them. Lovely atmosphere as well, soft music, not so many accents in interior. And staff members are polite and helpfulFood: 5/5
Food is delicious, and the staffs are nice, I told them it’s my birthday today, and they light a candle for me and sent us dessert wine as giftreally grateful Food: 5/5
Totally love Indian Zing have been coming here for over 12 years Always my last stop before I go back to the US, and this year we actually went two nights in a row there, always fabulous. Service is always attentive, and discreet cannot say enough good things about fabulous Restaurant, highly recommended!
I loved the food and service. It was my first formal Indian cuisine experience. I enjoyed everything including the dessert. The ambience was lively and great, though the restaurant is small. I’ll definitely return when I can. They had just 1 toilet for females though, so you’ll have to queue. Food portions were large as well. It was a great experience.
Sat outside the front on a warm June Wednesday evening and was not disappointed. Great drinks selection, great food, rapid service. i had the chicken tikka - nicely spicy, succulently soft, beautiful flavour - and my better half had the Lamb Raseela which she loved. For mains I went for the Fish Kawari which again had a nice kick to it with an extra serving of crunchy dry red chillies and an amazing blend of flavour with the fish cooked to perfection. My fiancée had the chicken korma, which whilst it wasn't your classic peshwari filling in liquid form in a jar, had a nice salt and sweet contrast with what tasted like a generous amount of stock with it. Delicious! Also I'd recommend getting some bread! The roti and paratha are super crusty and will mop up everything on your plate. Lastly we had the Rasmalai milk dumplings - Indian sweets that took me back to my grandparents in Kolkata - and the lady had the apple and fig muesli - a tad sweet but as long as you have a healthy dose of ice cream to contrast, you'll be ok. Can't believe I've been in West London this long and never discovered this place. Will definitely return!
Hammersmith is very lucky to have a great selection of Indian restaurants. This one is the best! Where else can you find Bengal Lancer Disaster no more Bengal Lancer!!! I've had to go down to 4* because of this.
I heard about this place upon recommendation from a nearby hotel concierge and also saw that this place is Highly Rated on Google Maps. It’s a a fine dining restaurant great for dinner. The food were delicious, I’d say it was one of the best Indian food I ever had. However, I was a bit surprised when the bill came, it came down to £50 per person without drinks, considering it has only two dollar signs $$ on Maps. I think that this restaurant should have a three dollar sign $$$ instead. The service could also be improved, especially for customers who are not very familiar with Indian food. It would be helpful if the servers are trained to give a proper and friendlier explanation of the dishes and how to mix and match the dishes for family style.
