Ordered a delivery through the app, arrived quicker than expected everything was as Ordered. Three very happy customers will certainly be ordering from here again only dilemma will be what to have..  Edit We have ordered again since, once a month as a treat, very happy with it after trying out lots of Indian takeaways since we moved to York this is our go to. Vert happy customers. The onion Bajis are amazing!

I've got takeaway from here a few times and it's always so so sooooooooo tasty. The peshwari naan is so doughy and delicious, the onion bhaji dipped in the minty yogurt pots they give you is fantastic, and the CURRY. Oh my god I love the curries. I usually go for a prawn dish and it's always exactly what I wanted. The sauce is always so rich and full of flavour. I can't vouch for the other meat dishes but the prawn ones are great. My parents look forward to coming to stay because they can get a takeaway from Indian Ocean. 10/10.

Absolutely shocking delivery service. Waited a good hour for it and food arrived cold. Definitely won’t be using again it’s not the first time it’s happened.

Rare Indian take away. After a few , maybe 4 star meals from here in the past   This was more like it. Bhajis light but crisp and obviously very fresh , which hasnt always been the case. Plenty of meat in the Balti.

Enjoyed a meal there tonight. Food was great quality, service was attentive without being over facing and price was reasonable. Filling starters, good beer on tap. Can’t fault it. They even did us a doggy bag.

Went there been going for years. Had no problems  before ordered our meals. My partner ordered chicken madras. When it came out it had lamb and potatoes in it. Wrong order. When they changed it the madras was salty and tasted different. When we complained the waiter stuck my spoon in my dinner to taste. They told me it could be the wine am drinking but no way and was so embarrassed when they all came over they even dragged the chef out. They gave me a new madras  but this time had tomatoes in it and thickened but still tasted the same. At this point  it put my partner off and didn't eat it. But still charged us full price even when they go the order wrong. Won't be going there again

Ordered delivery when it arrived  one meal wrong  when phoned said they will send another meal by time it arrived everything else was cold nan bread was like a crisp don't think I'll be going there  again

Small mishap with the order but this was very quickly rectified by the staff and management the food was amazing 100% will use againRecommended dishesStaters - Murgh Tikka

Lovely food and nice people. They know what they’re doing and they deserve to do well.
