We celebrated my husbands 60th Birthday at your restaurant. The food was served hot and on time, we had excellent service from start to finish and all the staff made sure everything was running smoothly. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and we will definitely come again and would recommend our family and friends. Keep up the good work and thanks for recommending the DJ.
Celebrated my husbands 40th birthday in the banqueting suite upstairs. Food, service and decorations were perfect. food was hot and tasted great, service was fast and we had nothing to complain about. Definately recommend this for a party of 150 people. Thank you to Indy and all his staff.
Had a really great evening, it was my first time as I had a voucher. Received some great service from Aman and the manager was really great and not pushy with trying to get us to upgrade. It definitely has "The Come Back Factor!" Portions were a great size and the meals were delicious. Can't wait to come back!!! Kupid the King.
Great Punjabi food. Staff very friendly but service was a little slow. Free popadoms to start, although ours tasted like cardboard. Rest of the food was very scrumptious and would definitely return. They do not serve desserts though.
Had an 18th and 5th birthday party upstairs, the service was second to none. The room was decorated with helpful staff and amazing food. Shout out to Indy who made the whole thing possible.Would recommend this to friends and family.
They let me down by arriving 3 hours late to my pre wedding party in Walsall on the 29th March 2014 where they were catering for 100 of my closest family and friends. Didnt answer calls, acted extremely unprofessionally, food was nothing as described and terrible most probably sub contracted by another caterer and caused a number of guests to be ill the next day. Offered no apology or explanation and have since noticed other bad reviews on the same day from other patrons of the restaurant where is took them 3 hours to bring them food. Have asked for an explanation and may be seeking legal action shortly. Strongly would not recommend these guys as caterers, extremely disappointed.
I have always found the food to be of excellent quality and the service to be eager to please. I would rate the food as easily as the best in the area, it is fairly priced for food of such quality. I would be happy to recommend India Gates to anyone in the area for a nice meal or a takeaway, 5 stars from me!
I tried to order on just eat but the restaurant was not open. Even though opening times were 5pm. I order alot of takeaway food found the perfect restaurant ordered food and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I tried phoning them to place an order but could not get through my order was a big order £60 . I would like the manager/ owners to please take orders on just eat as i order takeaways 3 to 4 times a week. Please please take orders on justeat. I luv punjabi food and your food at india gate reminds me of punjab. My name is kamaljit and I have only placed an order once to india gate just eat the food was amazing. You can contact me by phone from my previous order through just eat. I would place orders at least 3-4 times a week. My request to u all at india gate is please please take orders through just gate. Booked a 50th birthday party and it was incredible the food was amazing especially the DJ even the decorations were fantastic. I also liked the service as well, would go there again:
We were the only guests in the place, it was soon apparent why. The main course took well over an hour to arrive and was the worst food I have had in a restaurant. Couldn't even eat it, not a hygenic place to eat when you see the dog eared menu's and the people going in and out of the kitchens. Stay well clear!!
