We have been ordering from Inder's for a couple of years now and when it is good, it's by far the best curry in Cambridge. Quality is very variable though, sometimes portions are atrociously small and lately, the dishes have been too oily. The parathas - which used to be delicious - have also declined in quality, now tending to be too thin and tasting of stale oil. Having said this though, we tend to stick with Inder's on a Friday night as delivery is usually very reliable, customer service is outstanding, and more often than not, the food is good.
We regularly order from Inder's Kitchen for delivery. In our experience, consistently good food, and pretty authentic too according to an Indian friend of ours. The cost is relatively high, but they do have specials and regular order discounts. Deliveries have been on time, food is hot and delivery guy polite. The meat seems to be of good quality relative to other restaurants and the flavours are strong and savoury, unlike the over-sweetened Anglo-fied stuff we're used to. Yumm
Great every time. Also full of taste, and best of all, I don't feel sick after! Every other curry leaves me feeling bloated and sick, from all the fat, sugar, calories, and horrible oil they use. Not with Inders. I actually feel good after a big curry!
this was our first time and sadly will be our last.We found the dishes described in the menu did not match our delivery- very disappointing in that to begin with the order was taken on the phone in sloppy manner the chap talking with others at the same time, no confirmation of the full order or total cost just giving 60 to 90 mins delivery time. A very nice chap delivered and said 'enjoy' and having waited so long all eager to start it looked colourful and except for one leaking the other containers were fine. the rice were dry and only warm. The chiken korma was nothing like a korma- green and watery sauce with chunks of white chicken barely coated in sauce. The mutton sauce was better but the meat was very grizley the popodoms were very see through thin and very broken and oily.the chick peas were the only quality and tasty dish others luke warm and mushy etc.I rang the chap to ask why the receipt had not been attached he said they usually do not send it. Again he was chatting with others too! I then gave an honest feedback careful and not wanting to be mean and guess what he said' we like feedback I will pass your message on thanks' no ' sorry' word was uttered. just got a bad feeling and for the huge cost wish we had asked one of the many authentic curry houses nearby instead for a delivery
Been looking for a good curry in Cambridge since I got here. Can truthfully say Inder's is the best it gets. Delicious food, reasonable prices and fantastic service. Their website is so good you'd never think it was a local place. Will be ordering again very soon.
It has really gone downhill. It is so sad as this use to be our favourite Indian, which the whole family enjoyed. However the past few deliveries have been poor quality, small portions, burnt and cold, under-cooked with dishes missing. We keep trying it hoping that they were having a bad day last time, however this does not seem to be the case. It is such a disappointment.
first time i have used inders kitchen and loved it! nice, fresh, authentic Indian food! will use again very soon!
Quite a few times we have ordered from here.Awesome n truely tasty, less oily food..keep it up!
First time ordering from Inders Kitchen and sadly the last. The guy who took my order - Kieran. He seemed nice but told me that there are delivery slots in which my food would be delivered I didn't really understand that. I placed the order and and found that it was quite expensive. The food was delivered in good time and was hot. The food looked good. However when I ate it I found the food tasteless, no salt and no spice even though I asked for my food to be spicy. The portions were good but just tasteless.
Truly Indian tastes.
