After taking my Range Rover sport in for a tailgate fault on 22/12/2022 they had vehicle until 13/01/2023, I rang service department 3 times with no response. Today I rang to be eventually told my vehicle was ready to collect at a 6 hour total labour cost of over a £1000 . I find it very hard to believe that my vehicle was with them 3 weeks but not even one full days work was completed on it and at a cost of £160 per hour . The vehicle was supposed to have received a complimentary wash and hoover out but this obviously doesn’t include panoramic roofs as it was filthy photos taken and had not been touched inside. This has to be the worst and yet most expensive customer service I have ever had and will not be returning i will stick to my local landrover specialist in future they don’t wear a mask and communicate with customers.
Very bad experience, left a deposit over the phone on a Defender with George, however a change of circumstances means I can now not purchase the car. Instead of being honorable and decent, George then emailed me saying they would not refund my deposit. Absolutely disgusting, not how you should do business. This is a breach of law, breach of distance sale regulations and a disgraceful threat. 1st stage of fightback is this review, second stage legal action. Avoid making same mistake I did!
Bought a L/Rover Discovery Sport Dynamic-R from here in September '22. Saw the vehicle on-line and called the dealership. Spoke to Patrick Smith who then dealt with my queries about this car. He then oversaw my subsequent travel to York to view this car from Northumberland where I now live and dealt with my trade-in and later purchase of this car. The colour scheme of this vehicle initially attracted my interest, but Patrick was great to deal with. He was very attentive without being too much too quickly, dealing with little questions I had in a very courteous and professional manner. He answered my emails and returned calls without fail and the eventual 'grand reveal' of this car to me on the day of collection after purchase made you feel that the company cared about the customer. A very small issue regarding the drivers heated seat not working will soon be sorted out on 12th October after being booked in and a courtesy car for the day. Even Tom the Business Manager was a nice bloke to meet and deal with. Very pleased so far.

DO NOT BUY OF THIS DEALERSHIP. They’re very pushy and quick to take a deposit. But when customer circumstances change they are very unfair and unprofessional. Before they run a finance check they will ask for a deposit and will NOT tell you its non refundable. Then I get a call from Chris sault who is a sales manager being very unprofessional and rude on the fone. Going through there reviews it’s not the first time this has happened I believe.
Purchased 2nd hand car from this dealership. I dealt with Alex Frear and Patrick Smith who were a pleasure to deal with. The who process was seemless professional and they were totally transparent, plus no hard selling was involved.
Fantastic customer service received from Jason Holt in the service department! He was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative, always keeping us in the loop of how progress was going. Definitely felt like he went the extra mile for us. We would never take our Discovery anywhere else after dealing with Jason, thanks a lot!
