Arrived, no proactive service. Left after 30 minutes of not even talking to a sales person. Didn’t even offer to unlock the car I was interested in despite being right in front of the reception desk. Pity, cars seem reasonable value.

Terrible experience. I needed a car quickly so booked an appointment to test drive two cars, with the intention of buying one that day. Hours later I was only able to drive one. The salesman then was trying to sell me another car at a much higher price. They then were quoting me a much higher finance rate than advertised with admin fees and add on paint protection. I thought garages like this were in the past or on a TV comedy?? The worst thing was when I went to leave a salesman came to me and said ‘I understand as a woman on your own you will feel intimated to make a decision’ Avoid!!

So what can I say.... I went in there yesterday 27/03/2018. The car I wanted to purchase a Volvo V40 R design 64 Plate 36,000 miles had been deliverd down to my local dealership from northampton. Upon arrival and after agreeing a price and paying £200 DEPOSIT (ill explain why thats in caps later) I was taken into a room to sign documents before even seeing the car I was purchasing, with no offer to see it. I asked to see the car and test drive it. He drove it out of the dealership with me in the passenger seat however I noticed he had turned the air con on full blast which I believe was to drown out the broken clutch (I'll get to that) I then took over and started to drive the car immediately I noticed there was less than 10 miles remaining on the petrol and as soon as I put my foot on the clutch a horrible squealing noise occurred. This noise continued every time I made any contact with the clutch and there was clearly a fault as it was already a very high clutch. I told the salesman, and as we got back to the garage he asked me if I could come back tomorrow however due to work it is hard for me to get back and forth and waste more time and petrol. I asked for the cost of repair off the price of the car, which they would not give. The manager instead drove the car and came back and said theres "something not quiet right and I can see how that would become annoying". They said they could take a look at it and fix it and then deliver it to me. However the car was just under £11,000 and there should be no problems with it at all. I asked what would happen if I needed a new clutch after I bought it they said if you do we cover you up to £500 but as most of you will know it would cost way more than that to repair or replace a clutch on a VOLVO v40 R design. They said if I paid another £340 that I would be covered up to £3000 however why would I do this when I'm spending that amount of money on a car and then spending more because there is a fault WE ALL KNOW IS THERE. I turned it down and asked for a refund they said I would have to call the office so I did and then they said I'd have to wait until tomorrow to talk to the person I had been dealing with to get the FULL refund. I have been called today and told I will be issued a £101 refund and the other £99 was a deliver charge which I was not told I was paying for over the phone nor on any paper work. I was told that the £200 was a deposit. Even if it was a delivery cost I would still have the right to a refund as I did not take the car and it was faulty and not what they advertised to me on the phone or online. I am now arguing with them over the law and consumer rights and act and distance sales act. NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Purchased a 23k Audi RS Q3 last month only to discover on drive home a significant wheel wobble shaking children in their seats, after having my car for weeks (And giving me a filthy old banger as a courtesy car) they have now advised they will not be following Audi recommended advice for repair, very disappointed will be taking further action
