Terrible service, multiple lies and vehicle returned damaged .nMy husbands van was damaged by another driver and through insurance was to be repaired at impact repair centre Bromsgrove.nThey had his vehicle for 6 weeks despite telling us numerous times that it would be “ready next day” “95% certain it will be ready tomorrow”. Many times no one answered the phone and when they did they were very non committal and didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on. Customer relations is terrible. The hire car company managed to get more sense out of them than we did. The app used to track progress showed completely different things to what we were being told.nOn completion the reverse camera was hanging off, dangling over the rear number plate.nThe ply on the interior is missing, with the carpet reattached to the body of the van, in some places it isn’t even re glued. Therefore is peeling off.nThe leather steering wheel is scuffed in two places.nReally really unhappy with the “service”. The repairs required on the van were caused by another driver through no fault of my husband. If we had known his van would not be looked after properly at Impact Repair centre Bromsgrove we would never have agreed for it to be repaired there.nNow we are faced with having to do repairs at home caused by the very people who were repairing it!!nWould love to hear from a manager in regards to the handling of this repair.
Directed here by Mazda accident care after having a little bump in a Mazda3. Previous repair on another Mazda which was done the insurer's approved repairer result in the colour not being matched correctly, so this time wanted it done through Mazda.nImpact are Redditch Mazda's approved body shop so was confident it would be done to a high standard and th colour would matchnFirst off, when trying to book the car in after having the estimate done and accepted by my insurance company, was the non-availability of a courtesy car which they claimed wasn't part of the quote, yet had been assured by Mazda accident care it was. Phone call to Mazda accident care who then contacted Impact Repair centre to put them right.nCar went in, and all done in 2 days only a rear bumpernNoticed when I picked it up that the the rear bumper didn't match the rest of the car its a non-metallic Arctic white, at least a couple of shades out, but thought it was probably just the light, but it turns out its def not the correct shade of white to match the rest of the carnFew days later also noticed that bumper wasn't secured properly - had to take it back for the missing fasteners to added so bumper is actually fully attached.nFor a main dealer Mazda approved body shop not to be able to match the colour is most disappointing, and then to discover that the bumper hadn't been fitted correctly just added to the poor experience.nIts not a massive mismatch but I can tell it definitely doesn't match.nWill not allow another car to be repaired there due to this experience.nStaff are all nice and helpful, but its the quality of the work that counts in the long run and unfortunately this seems to be of a low standard
I had an unfortunate experience with Impact Repair Centre in Bromsgrove, where my insurance company directed me for repairs. The reception staff were friendly, and the bodywork was well done. However, my car went in with a fully functional battery that had never given me any issues in the past three years. When I got it back, the battery was completely discharged/damaged and would no longer hold a charge for more than 20 minutes.nnThis was particularly distressing as my wife is disabled, and I was left with a broken car that couldn’t make it to an important hospital appointment. When I raised the issue, they dismissed responsibility, telling me to contact my insurance company instead. I even wrote to their Director of Operations, but disappointingly, I received no response to date.nnIf your insurance company recommends Impact Repair Centre, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere—they showed little care for my vehicle during the repair process and even less concearn that they gave my car back broken. Shame on you Impact repair centre!
Excellent service from point of contact to completion of repair.nI was kept fully informed of the progress of my repair at all times.nAll staff were friendly /efficient/courteous & professional.nVery happy with my repair & the added bonus of my car being valeted inside & out.nThank you for a first class service.nI would be happy to recommend your services to friends & family….
