IMO Car Wash

I've used these for car washes and the wash is always fine. For £5 basic it more than does the job. Today however I went to get a cheap clean and pointed out that my wingmirror had been smashed so to be careful when using the jet just in case. Come the other side of the wash a member of the staff had found not only a replacement one that fitted my car, by luck it was the same colour. He popped it on and I'll go as far to say it's the best fiver I've ever spent. Where the heck do you get that sort of service? If only there were more people around like that.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. Have previously used the car wash many times without issue however on Monday 12th February 2018 we had our car washed using the £11 premium service. The car wash has scratched the rear door / rear wing of the car. The car is 2016 vehicle in otherwise perfect condition. The damage caused is in a perfect uniform circular motion that could only have been caused by the machine. Following the wash I pointed this out to the technician who asked me to fill out an incident form and advised I would receive a call from head office within a couple of days. A week went by with no contact. So I had to email them. They took a further 2 days to respond and asked for images of the damage. Fortunately when myself and the technician inspected the damage I took images. Emailed these to head office and received a response the following day advising that they are not prepared to accept liability. To be fair the damage is light scratches to the paint work it didn’t go down to the metal and I would have been reasonably prepared to have this repaired cheaply at somewhere like dent magic however now as a result of the poor service received I will obtain an independent engineers report and have the damage repaired at the main dealer which will not doubt increase the cost. I will then be seeking reimbursement of the cost from the car wash and if payment is not received I will proceed to issue proceedings via the small claims court. I will update my review once this action is completed. In summary DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH IT MAY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND THEY WILL TRY AND AVOID PAYING FOR THE DAMAGE. Obviously as a result of there unreasonable action it resolving the damage that they have caused I will also be seeking compensation in respect of distress and inconvenience. All of which could have been avoided if they had acted in a reasonable fashion.

Great value for money and give the car a thorough clean unlike the car wash across the road.

Won't use again this one has ripped a wing mirror off and had my petrol cap ripped off
