This kennels would not take my dog because he is a sharpei mix stating they can be nasty. I find this a ridiculous comment especially for someone that works in the industry. Our dog is calm, great natured, fantastic with dogs and children. To single out certain breeds I find to be extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this kennel.
I put my Staffy Cross Bailey into these kennels for 3 nights recently due to being away for my daughters wedding. I have used another local kennel in the past and never really felt comfortable in using them to be honest… couldn’t put my finger on it… but with Illustria it was different. From drop off to collection my dog seemed so much more happy and relaxed and thus I didn’t feel any concern in leaving him. The staff actually took a genuine interest in him, unlike at the other kennel he’s been to in the past. Staff are friendly and chatty and upon collection I had a good feedback as to his behaviour and wellness while he was there. I will certainly be using these kennels again should I need to house my dog in the future. My only disappointment was they don’t have a card reader… payment would be so much simpler and faster.
My Lab Tequila stayed here for 16 days and when we took her home she was very clean, happy and fed very well. I would definitely recommend this place to any dog owner
First time leaving my collies in kennels. Picked up two very happy dogs who have obviously been well cared for. Will definitely be booking the dogs back in in the future. Thank you!
I have used this cattery twice, the last time she was boarded for a month. She came home in good condition so I will not hesitate to use this establishment again. They listen and note your pets requirements. The pens are large with a cabin which has two levels with heating when required and outside space all in a lovely environment.
Picked our dog up today after our holiday. He was excited to see us but as michelle started walking back to the kennels he tried to follow her. He clearly had a good time and he has come home content and seems happy. Will definitely recommend and return. Thank you for looking after "prince william" for us
Always use illustria to look after our cats when going away on holiday. They get well cared for,fussed and fed. Nothing is ever to much trouble should you ask for something to be done. The people there are so welcoming and friendly
Been using these kennels for about 25 years. No problems dogs seem very happy there. I feel it is a safe secure place. Puts my mind st rest whilst away.
A lovely friendly and spotlessly clean catterry and kennels, a great place to leave your pets when you are away.
My dog is really happy to stay here. Would recommend and will come back
