Great ambiance, serves breakfast buffet. The only downside is we had dinner the previous night wedding anniversary and we wanted to sit on the actual restaurant but it was closed. Instead they serve the dinner in the bar area which is however nice relaxing area too. Food is nice and great value for money. And lovely staff
I had the veggie lasagne, which was served in a rather small dish on a slate with the fries in a wire basket. The flavour was OK but I was expecting a much larger portion for the price and the presentation was dated. The pannacotta tasted nice but again was a tiny portion topped up with fruit and garnished with a tinned peach segment, an orange rind and a dusting of icing sugar, very retro.
The pasta was really good, I ordered it without mushrooms and they made it extra for me. The pizza was rather dry but okay.
Why referenced as an Italian restaurant? As we read the menu we directly understood it was a mistake to stop at this place, hoping to have a nice Italian dinner. I understand that as the restaurant of an hotel you have to offer a range of dishes to satisfy everyone I was ok with the idea when I get it wasn't only an Italian restaurant. But this doesn't allow you to serve such bad meals. I'm sorry to say so but our pizza and Caesar salad where of poor quality and we could get better one at supermarkets. You can make it simple but please choose quality ingredients to make it descent...
The food was fabulous and the staff amazing. So i wanted to go back but it is a bit hard to figure out their opening times and they were closed. I never tried again. Pity, the food was really nice.
Overall very mediocre. Portions on the small and pricy end, pesto was fairly flavorless. Quick service, but they never bothered to refill our water pitcher. Overall I’d say there are better options, especially in Dublin.
Food it's okish for a quick dinner or lunch. It's a place were you can go and talk.
Excellent pizza and lasagna. Service good. Decor a bit faded but worth a visit. Walk through the hotel and it is at the back.
Great place for lunch, dinner, or some drinks with friends if you're looking for a setting slightly calmer than your usual pub. Cozy, great service, great food!
Nice, quiet, and comfortable with a kind of Italian feel. Decent food but the service was a little brusque.
