This little coffee shop has the best coffee in Dublin city centre. The staff are so kind and attentive. Prices are unbeatable for the quality! Love Cafe trivia !!! We need more shops like this in the city!
Horribly rude wait staff and owners. They were extremely rude right after I walked in for no reason. They immediately started yelling at me despite other people being present and seemed to gain joy out of belittling me in front of their captive little audience. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had, and I didn't even get to try their subpar food though I did try their subpar coffee once while also encountering rude service
I walked in 10 minutes before a stated lunch break of 15 minutes, which I thought would be enough time to order a coffee. The woman working the counter was extremely rude and kept repeating she would be closing for a lunch break. I asked if she would be kicking everyone out at that time, and she said no, but made it clear I was not welcome. The rudest person I've ever met in Dublin. Though I pass by every day on my way to work, I will not be stopping in again.
i went and got a coffee and the instant it touched my tongue i knew something was up. i soon became convinced that the milk used to make it was sour. i had friends taste and smell it too. we all agreed the milk was gone. I came back an hour later to see if i could get a replacement. the guy seemed to be in disbelief when i said the milk had been sour. he sniffed the milk, and then tasted a little cup of it. i assumed that he found it okay, he made me another coffee. didnt charge me to be fair. but it was still sour. at this point i assumed i was simply uncultured and it was some obscure coffee blend that gave the sour taste. i drank the whole coffee. but now, tummy hurty. i now kind of believe that this dude, in a pointless face-saving act, pretended to not find the milk sour, and made me another sour coffee. bruh.
Lovely coffee, hot chocolate great too!
Great espresso, very fresh muffins
Kind staff. Quick food. Fair price for the region. Off the Beaten path, so not as busy. Had a wonderful sandwich. And was able to use the bathroom. It was great for my wife and kids. Any other sandwiches with pesto amazing!
Wonderful ham and cheese sandwich and superb white iced mocha! This place has very fast and friendly service as well, I highly recommend!
Came in here on the recommendation of friends. Home for the week as I work abroad and wanted lunch and a coffee with 2 friends. Male staff member immediately made me feel unwelcome. I said I’d like to wait a few minutes until my friends arrive. Told me there’s only 8 tables for lunch. So I asked if he wanted me to leave? And he was like “noooo you can stay.. but are you all bringing laptops and staying? I don’t even know what the relevance was. I said no I’d just like to stay for lunch and that we’d be gone within the hour. After that encounter I decided to give my business to someone else. Extremely rude and judging by previous reviews, not the first time people have dealt with this rude man! Avoid...
Probably the coffee shop with the best background music in this area. I like to go and have regular tea and brown toast in the morning, because it's quiet and cosy. It's a no frill type of place, totally unpretentious. Staff is very friendly. I guess they could get the food offer a bit better. Never had coffee here, so can't judge.
