The store layout is well-organized, allowing for a smooth flow through different sections. The showroom displays give plenty of ideas for home decor, and the self-service areas are easy to navigate. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is efficient. The in-store restaurant is a nice touch, offering affordable meals. However, the store can get busy, especially on weekends, so visiting early may help avoid crowds. Overall, it's a convenient spot for home shopping with a reliable selection
Generally I would say the store is fine. But what lets it down is the Quick hotdog and chips stand by the cashiers desk. The staff that work it are GOLD but management need to have more staff here keeping it clean and making sure the condiments are fully stocked all the time often they run out. The fizzy, cold drink refill machines have been broken for months. Today there were no buns for sausages although management stated they should stay open. My autistic son was very vexed about this. Also they have removed all the normal seating, there’s a lady here with three little ones under three all on tall chairs - which isn’t ideal. And usually half the section is closed in the evening in the last hour and again - if you like space like my ASD son, this doesn’t suit your needs.nnPlease also provide someone to keep this area clean at all times.
Big furniture store showcasing some neat designs at affordable prices. Staff were friendly, and the showcase rooms were really good.
I was at IKEA for most of December shopping. I was happy to go somewhere where I could have privacy to breastfeed my baby. Unfortunately, I returned this month in February And they have destroyed that place to put 2 tables to serve food. Instead they are using a place that was previously to put dirty dishes from customers. A breastfeeding woman needs privacy and a place without extreme noise. This place is in the middle of the room where there are children playing on the tables. Families/friends talking very loudly and What's worse, there's a place next to it for customers' dirty dishes and cups. The sound of metal clashing constantly. The noise around. The fact that there is no curtain and you are in the middle of chaos. Makes breastfeeding a horrible experience at IKEA.nnI honestly don't know who could have come up with such a crazy idea just to add more chairs. It makes my experience at IKEA unpleasant. The worst thing is that it was even blocked by food carts left adrift. My husband moved many carts just to help me feed our baby. She was jumping in fear Due to the constant metal banging by the employees trying to stack all the food carts left around more than 15. Actually, the person responsible for this change simply has no consideration for their clients who are sometimes families trying to spend a pleasant time doing shopping there.
This is the second time I have been to IKEA Bristol, and it didn't disappoint. It has a wide range of different products, everything that you could ever need. This time I picked up 2 bed side cabinets and a shoe rack. The product quality is surprisingly strong, non of this flimsy quality that you some times think you might get for such low prices.nnI went on a Friday and stopped for some food half way round. On a Friday it is half prices food so picked up a plate of 12 meat balls for £2.50. Can't complain for the price! Every staff member I spoke to were super helpful and always joyful.
