ordered online for delivery took almost 2hrs from time of order to getting it, ordered a 1/4 lb burger looked more like gandhi's flip flop tasted about the same to! food was cold.

In two words? Not ideal. First off, I should explain that we ordered online for delivery and unbeknownst to us they'd had a fire that day so were running orders through their Eastwood shop, meaning they were probably very busy. Delays are completely understandable in a situation such as this.

Unfortunately, we received no such information. We waited over an hour and then called. The gentleman that I spoke to said that they had received our order but for some reason it had never reached Eastwood. He said he would call the owner/manager and they'd get back to me. 

Ten minutes later, I received a call from (I can only presume) the owner/manager. He informed me that they had not received my order and could not fulfil it at this point. Having had my address read back to me on the previous call, I knew this was not the case at all. We both knew he had lied and he was offering nothing by way of a goodwill gesture, bearing in mind our wait and now being told there would be no order forthcoming. At this point, I requested a refund and a goodwill gesture to which I was told by this man that he 'would not be dictated to' and I would only get a refund.

After reading such fantastic reviews here, I have no doubt that the food is stellar but there is never any need to lie to customers. Honesty is always the best policy, the only policy. So I won't be ordering from here again. 

Take yourself down the road to Oldhams. They don't deliver but they look after and respect their customers and it's worth the drive, every time!

Had to wait 15mins whilst they messed around with deliverys and just eat orders, mine was from the shelf already cooled so just waited looking at my order on the shelf.
