A Refreshing Shopping Experience at Iceland New AddingtonnnFrom the moment I stepped into Iceland’s New Addington store, I was greeted with a clean, well-organized environment that made my shopping experience delightful. The aisles were neatly arranged, and the products were easy to find, which saved me a lot of time. The staff members were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, making the atmosphere even more welcoming.nnThe variety of frozen foods was impressive, offering a range of options from convenient ready meals to indulgent desserts, all at reasonable prices. The fresh produce section was a highlight, with fruits and vegetables that looked just-picked and full of flavor.nnHowever, it was a bit disappointing to see that the American section had been discontinued. It was always a treat to find those unique stateside goodies that added a dash of excitement to the pantry. While its absence was felt, the store still provided a plethora of international flavors to explore, ensuring that the spirit of culinary adventure lives on.nnIn conclusion, Iceland New Addington has provided a shopping experience that’s hard to fault. It’s a shame about the American section, but the store’s overall quality and service more than make up for it. I’ll definitely be returning for the friendly atmosphere and the diverse selection of foods.
Friendly staff and easy to find what u want. Queues can be a headache especially when u only have a few items and the person in front of you is taking all day to be served due to chatting
Bread was not good had mould on might have been a bad Bach but I think staff should check if possible
I visit this Iceland often and usually I have nothing to complain about however I have had less than pleasant encounters with one member of staff. I can't think of her name but every time i've spoken to her she gives an air of bitterness and is often very condescending and rude. One particularly nasty encounter happened where my card wouldn't work via contactless or directly in the reader at a self-checkout till. I asked her for assistance and she proceeded to mutter under her breath 'oh what are you doing?' Before snatching my card out of my hand and just mishandling it in the reader, bending and warping it miraculously it worked on a bus journey home so I don't know why it didn't work, possibly the card reader was faulty? She was extremely condescending and undermining, treating me like a child, as if it was my fault and it made me uncomfortable and anxious. Her behaviour was completely unnecessary, which baffles me because I hear her being jovial and sociable to other customers, yet when it comes to me and other people I know, she seemingly has a problem with them for no reason.
I was referred this branch by a nearby Iceland because I wanted some specific things.nUnfortunatey they didn't stock the chip shop curry pie or the Birds Eye Unicorn waffles.nApart from that I managed to get Lorne sausage and Spam fritters.
