I was asked for a review by Google maps every single time I passed by the Iceland Store in Basingstoke town center , but the staff was very rude to allow me to take pics when I asked if I can click pics and post it on Google , so much attitude?? I now know why there is hardly anyone to be seen shopping here , I wonder if this store is hiding Gold in here ....Pathetic!!!
Not bad prices lovely food and happy staff
A big Thankyou to the lady working on the till on the 14th, my grandmother who is elderly and half blind was at the till packing her bags and due to her lack of visibility and strength struggles to shop due to anxiety about public spaces, a very rude customer decided to say to my grandmother “you do know, you’re holding up the que” now bare in mind my grandmother is in her 80’s and is usually assisted, my grandmother was shaken up by this comment and the kind till person stepped in and reassured my grandmother by telling her “don’t you worry love, you take your time, there is no rush at all” I want to say a big Thankyou because this level of customer service alone was right, to the person who proceeded to antagonise with further comments, I hope when you get to her age, you’ll understand. Kind regards and Thankyou to the staff member working on the 14th of Feb 5* customer service!

Very disappointing no deliveries although when we asked we were told yes ! Not the first time either so not at all happy with the service
Always long queues, has improved since Covid period staff are always nice and willing to help me and mum go in here every fortnight to get our weekly shopping good vegan and vegetarian range have a senior day on Tuesday which my mum loved.
Good selection of food and drink and fair prices
Only ever one on checkout causing big queues and still don’t open another. Now stopped using the shop altogether, look after your employees it’s not fair on the one person always alone
Great quality food and great prices
Busy but only one till open had to wait 15mins to be served not inpressed at all
