This place was on my restaurant bucket list for so long and finally tried it today. We were blown away by how authentic the experience was and how welcoming the staff were. Coleen welcomed us in as one of the first lunch customers. She provided a great wine recommendation using her own knowledge and my preferences. The £20 lunch special is amazing with generous portions, even better when in a group as you can all share. This is one of those places which is tucked away but worth a visit. We will be back for dinner.
Really enjoyed our visit here. Beautiful building, very nice food and excellent service. Food wise we enjoyed the Chorizo lollipops, pan con tomate, tortilla and patatas bravas. We loved the Tempura hake, blue cheese salad, sherry mushrooms and the desserts. Excellent selection of Spanish wines too.
My family and I came to a celebrate a graduation on Tuesday, and we were amazed by the food and the efficient service I’d like to thank our server Malca for her efficient and attentive service, she was so welcoming to us even with a busy graduation crowd filling the restaurant We were greeted with a glass of cava each, which was a lovely surprise - My personal food recommendation would be the seafood paella, and the Sweet Potato with Lemon foam, but everything tasted divine Thank you! We can’t wait to come back
This place is amazing! First of all the staff is lovely. All the tapas platters that we tried were brilliant. Padron peppers are amazing, but the greatest is the churros !!! We were a bit suspicious whether it would be the same food experience as we had in Spain. Frankly, it may even be more delicious. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff; basically everything is lovely. They forgot to bring my espresso and I have been informed that due to this inconvenience, the coffee will be on the house, which means that they care about their customers. There is a 12.5% service charge included in the bill which is completely deserved. Next time we will come with our group of friends to enjoy more and try paellas.
Lovely venue to meet special friends foe lunch. It was quiet and service was good. 3 of us decided to share a seafood paella. It was just about a single thin layer of rice covering the bottom on the pan so there weren't huge portions each. It came topped with 6 large king prawns which were nice, however there was hardly any other seafood in it. I spotted about 4/5 other prawns. To fully enjoy I'd like seafood in the seafood paella. We didn't want to make a fuss as we disnt want to add complaining to our day out.
Great service and nice drinks. We came in for only drinks on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. Lovely decorFood: 5/5
We were in Leeds for the Leeds v Blackburn football game. We had no reservation. However the receptionist was less than helpful when we explained that we did not need a table but were happy to sit at the bar and have some tapas .We were told we would have to wait over 2 hours to be served. However when we spoke directly to the bar staff in spanish, they facilitated us immediately and got served straight way at the bar which was empty. The wine was a lovely bierzo petit pitacum along with a cana of Estrella Galicia. The jamon iberico and croquetas plus bread were so so yummy. Authentic spanish.Overall, the quality of the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The ambience of the restaurant was very enjoyable . Service provided led to a £20 tip being given to the spanish servers. Despite the earlier experience above, we would recommend the restaurant to all. Volveremos al restaurante cuando estamos en Leeds la próxima vez.
Beautiful birthday lunch enjoyed with my husband. It made a perfect oasis stop in the middle of Christmas shopping. Service was friendly and helpful, but not obtrusive. Tasty small dishes, but we were both satisfied by our meal. A real luxurious treat.Food: 5/5
Great restaurant in Leeds city centre I would highly recommend. Food was really nice black rice was my favourite out of all the dishes we ordered. Service was amazing and nothing was too much really friendly and kind people. Atmosphere / decor of the place was so nice and they have done a fantastic job of renovating the place. Would recommend to have a drink in the bar area before going through to the restaurant a great selection of drinks. Will be back :
If I could give 6 starts, I would! Came here for the 3rd time on Saturday to celebrate my 30th. I thought I'd booked a table but they couldn't find the reservation and neither could I! However, they were very accomodating and gave us a table downstairs with a restricted tapas menu. They straight away brought us a complimentary Gava bottle, which I really appreciated! The manager Shaun was really helpful and eventually found us a table upstairs where we could move to! The atmosphere and service were elite and the food was to die for! At the end of the meal, they also offered us 2 complimentary churros with candles on top! Iberica, you're the greatest restaurant in town -Thank you!
