Went with the grandchildren on Sunday to the soft play area and they had loads of fun, great spread out play area for the bigger kids and a toddler area and a baby area so everyone was safe and sound.nWe had brews and drinks for the children and they were very cheap compared to other play centers, again great quality tea and coffee and not cheap tasting, the staff were all lovely and when the next table spilt there drinks were there in a flash to clean it up and re made the spilt drinks for them too.nWell worth a visit for a fun 2 hour play time.
Im surprised at the reviews of this place. The pool is always cold and dirty iv been going for approx. 2 years now.nnThe admin staff are not professional and trained properly and are clueless as to sessions of childrens swimming lessons.nnIts also quite dated and needs a revamp. Very old 1980's look.nnWont be returning here.nnPS. Changing rooms and showers are shared. Meaning your little loved ones will be sharing the showers with senior adults
The Gym Manager at Hyndburn lesiure centre is very unprofessional, I Worked as fitness instructor., It took me 2 months to get hired and start training after i got hired on the day of my informal chat. My Manager didnt answer emailsnor text messages and i had to keep ringing up, kept fobbing me off for weeks. The Building ended up flooding on my first shift there. I got told id get a debrief of the evacuation and that didnt happen. In my opinion this is massive a safety issue for the customers as i had no idea what to do and going forward either. I was meant to get first aid training for over 7 months and that didnt happen. I was only worker in the gym at times andnno first aider in the gym, Would have to go elsewhere in the building which is fine i suppose. I recieved no repsect even tho I covered pretty much every shift they asked, yet in return i got fobbed andnhad 1 shift in 3 months, I had to get another job but even before that i didnt get any shifts. The only shifts i got was within the first 2 months of working there.nI had to beg for shifts and still got ignored over text. Didnt even reply to my messages. Gave shifts to every other 0 hour contract worker over me, Hired another fitness instructor before giving any hours to menpayslip was wrong about 30% of the time.nTreated disrepectfully.nGreat lower staff and customers tho
Very friendly staff, great set up. Decent equipment. Looking forward to getting fitter.nnYoga is brilliant on a Monday evening!!nnDecent squash courts for a great price, mainly empty during the day too!
It is way too hot. Needs keeping cool for the kids running around. The kids are all sweating and rosey cheeked. Get the air con on.
