*Great place, gym users have been polite and nice so far. *Usually busy till about midnight if you’re wanting an empty gym, 1am-6am is perfect. *Access to multiple areas with various machines. Some machines could be better planted/angled. They’re commonly out of place so could cause some injury eventually; just inspect the machine before use, easy fix for this. Normal to inspect the machine, don’t worry, nobody will think anything of you
I first joined this gym back in 2010, when there was one floor and opening times were if I recall correctly 6am till 10pm it was open 7 days a week, now its open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year, now central fitness is a all out fitness centre with 3 floors, the ground floor has cardio equipment with some weight machines, the basement has a spacious studio for classes which are run by qualified instructors, the basement also includes tyres and some more equipment, the first floor at the top is were you'll find your free weights and loads of other weighted equipment, if you can't find equipment for a particular muscle, then you're not looking properly, cause of all the gyms I've been to in Lancashire this is my number 1 go to gym.
Got to be the best gym in the area. Great selection of fantastic hammer strength machines. Amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. 10/10 best gym in the area that can cater to anyone’s fitness goals :
Best and biggest gym in Accrington with very helpful staff with good knowage of exercise and fitness and they are always happy to help customers in the gym been going gym since 16 and am still at same gym and has a supplement part in the building aswel highly recommend
So happy central fitness has re opened its doors after covid closure. The socially distanced machines, hand sanitiser stations and sprays and wipes available to wipe down machines make me feel I can return to the gym safely. The staff are amazing and the gym has been extremely well planned out. Especially love the women's only section for when I'm not feeling too confident. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks guys
great environment and diversity in machines and weights. not been to a gym with so many different machines to work muscle groups. The gym does have it's busy periods but people are friendly and respectful regardless of where you are starting from I'm a novice and I don't feel threatened by the experts and heavy lifters... they all started the same as me.
Absolutely brilliant gym, so much effort has been put into keeping the gym safe during the pandemic. Equipment is fantastic & the gym is very clean. Great atmosphere and great staff.
