I brought tickets to go see Majestic last week (03.03.18). The evening of the event I found out he cancelled via their Facebook page. I was not intformed any other way, even though prior to this I had messaged the venue the night before confirming that he was going to be there. Me and my friends still went considering we had already paid and planned our whole evening/night. When we got there we was greeted by the bouncers (who were so lovely). We go downstairs expected the main room to be house/garage as planned due to Majestic being there, for the first half an hour it was. However after this the main room began playing r&b, just like the other room that was open. Songs were played more than once. It got really boring. The bar in main room was closed therefore you had to walk to the other room to get a drink. The organisation of this club is a joke. I understand they can’t help cancellations however it was due to the weather, I’m sure they would of known before the evening of the event as it was snowing from Wednesday. Shambles mate.

This used to be the best club in Watford for many years but since September it has been dire. It’s half full at best nowadays, the music is hideous, they used to play dance in the main room and have 2 other rooms of club classics and R&B but now they seem to have closed down the classic club tracks room and insist on playing R&B in both the other rooms. The DJs lie to you by saying they’re going to play dance but they don’t. Narcissistic, cocky and arrogant and play what they want. Avoid at all costs.

Very disapointed with this place. It was almost completely empty on a Friday night at 1 am?!?! Don't think I have ever been to a club that quiet. I don't know what else to say really. Very lackluster club.

So, where do I start. Bare in mind I’m a Door Supervisor myself so all of this was hilarious. My group was accused of doing cocaine, apparently the manager had seen us doing it. Absolutely no one in the group does it so that was pretty awkward trying to explain it to the Door Staff. It was actually the group of people next to us who flashed it about like idiots. Doorstaff then decided to search us. We tried explaining that we do not do drugs. Then there was a fiasco about one of the jackets in the cloakroom. Oddly enough after being searched, twenty pounds went missing from one jacket, And fifteen pounds went missing from one of our wallets. The only slightly redeeming thing about all of this was that the second I pulled out my badge we were talked to a tad more professionally. The tall doorman (I assume the head doorman) was actually somewhat helpful. I understand that working as a doorman is tricky, tough And otherwise not a consistently fun job. However, when the doorstaff can’t get their facts straight, show little to no teamwork And otherwise seem a bit bored, it shows that they are inept, poorly trained And have very little experience. This is in no way attempting to cast a poor light on Hydeout itself. The Doorstaff (not all) are just inexperienced. Hydeout itself: Pretty meh. Just a general club I suppose. Drinks are moderately priced I guess. Music was pretty contemporary. Not a bad venue, just nothing special.

Bad music, underfilled dead vibe, overpriced drinks which I was scammed into spending more money on (was told 4 beers =£10 handed them £20 and only got £4 change, when I asked them they said it was only selected beers yet in the beginning told me that the beers I wanted would be 4 for 10) dodgy toilets, basically a waste of time and money, don't ever feel there's any need to go here.
