From the outside, this cinema has a wow factor as the original facade is well preserved. The interior keeps all the best original features but is roomy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the screening of Harry Hills The Last Caveman. The 56 bus from the centre of town stops outside the cinema. Parking would have been a challenge I think.
My secret love in Leeds! Such a beautiful place with warm staffs here. Also love all their film selections, i haven’t watched any bad films over here so far and i appreciate it!
I adore everything about this cinema. Update: The coffee is smooth, the seats more comfortable than ever and the volunteers and staff are amazing. The only drawback is the lack of legroom in some seats, but sticking with aisle seats and the back row in screen two solves that. Book early if you're concerned.
Went to see seize them and was a wonderful outing Can drive but is close to train station. There was a kind gentleman who checked ticket and guided us to cinema. He also welcomed us before the movie began. The best part was the food and drinks were delicious and so affordable, and there was a bar for those who wanted alcohol. Also drinking water and toilets available for all. The theatre was gorgeous and sound quality was good. Really enjoyed the experience, will visit again.
Absolutely brilliant experience! We held my 8 year old's birthday party here and they made the whole process seamless. Booking was really straightforward and everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful. They put up a slide of the birthday girl before the film, gave out badges and made supplying popcorn and drinks to a gaggle of kids look easy somehow! Such a great place, we'll definitely be back.
Went last night to see Priscilla- 1730 showing - it was busy in screen 2 - and warm with so many people in. However the theatre is beautiful- refurbished to a high standard and the staff very welcoming. There is a small bar with snacks but quite a bit of seating dotted about . This is our 3rd visit and can say it’s a firm favourite.
Had a fantastic afternoon. Friendly team greeted everyone. Free coffee today. Cinema has been refurbished. Seating was very comfortable. Interval free ice-cream or coffee. On street parking. Was there early to be able to park outside. Community coffee shop inside. Well worth a visit to the venue.
An iconic venue, beautifully restored. Run by a great team who put on a brilliant programme of films and events. I was there for a Twin Peaks night and all the friendly staff were all in fancy dress, serving cherry pie and espresso martinis!
Lovely cinema with heritage. Seats very comfy and plenty of room. A really nice small cafe attached to the cinema entrance. Will go again.
The finest cinema around! Now spruced up with a second screen and better than ever. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great selection of films, a lot of which you won't see at the local multiplex. Love this place!
