It was our first time visiting everyman and all I can say is wow! We just walked in from Trinity as we had always been curious and we were immediately impressed with the venue. The staff were all lovely and it was a welcoming environment. We were greeted and helped out immediately by a very kind lady Franchesca who sorted our tickets, let us see the cinema before choosing our seats and even recommended us some dishes that we really enjoyed. She was very attentive and helpful and brought everything in to us before the film. The food was excellent restaurant standard and they had lots of variety - we got prawns, squid and burgers and the cocktails were the best we’d had in a while. Would definitely recommend going as a treat as the service and comfort is worth the extra pennies and we had an amazing time!!
Fantastic experience from start to end. The staff do an incredible job of hosting and making you feel really welcomed and looked after. Yes the tickets are expensive but this is not the cinema experience you are used to and it’s well worth the money
We visited here to watch Mission Impossible! It is located inside Trinity Leeds. I really enjoyed watching at Everyman cinema. We ordered the large mixed popcorn that was super salty and sweet and some soft drinks, the staff brought them to our seats! The sofa seat was so comfortable and I could sit with my husband. The ticket is usually more pricey than the other cinema but it’s worth coming here for watching your favorite movies and unique experiences. The toilets are available in the cinema. Very nice and clean sofa seat, and modern interior. The staff was extremely friendly as well.
One of a kind experience. It was so comfy and a lovely treat. As it was our first time it was a bit confusing on how everything works and how to order. I'm still a bit unsure but it was a lovely place. I still do recommend
This place offers the perfect experience for watching classic or more relaxed films. It doesn't have the biggest and high tech screens but what it does offer is a great screen nonetheless, food and drink choices for better than any cinema out there, and an atmosphere that makes you feel so much more relaxed.
The cinema is beautifully designed, with comfortable seating and a cosy atmosphere. The whole experience is top-notch. Comfy seats, great movie, and the best part? Food and drinks delivered right to my seat! Huge shoutout to the kitchen crew for the delicious food. If you're looking for a cosy and convenient cinema experience- I highly recommend it!
Such an amazing experience recently, especially the cocktails. They were far better than many of the overpriced cocktails within the area and reasonably priced. Also the staff were very friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend and visit again 5*
Really sorry everyman but the other customers ruined the experience for us. Couple next to us were just there to get drunk and chat, kids in front kept coming in and out, giggling and with phones going off. This should have been more closely monitored by staff and these people should have been either kicked out or we should have got a refund. Another note, the audio was horrendous....the cinema needs a better surround sound system because the dialogue was not loud enough yet the other audio was too loud. Menu ridiculously expensive. Couldn't order food whilst film was playing. Had to ask at bar where the screen was as weren't greeted by anyone...yet saw other customers being welcomed in. Seats aren't sloped enough...if someone is sat in front of you their head is directly obstructing the view. Nowhere adequate to put your coat expect to squish it on top of chair or put it on the floor.
Comfortable, friendly and cosy actually to the point I nearly zzz I’m so comfy It's probably the nicest popcorn in Leeds city centre. It is expensive compared to other cinemas in Leeds, but compared to Vue in the city centre, people who actually enjoy getting immersed in the film tend to visit Everyman. Some might find the food and drinks arriving during the start of the main feature a downside, but it can also be a delicious perk.
After seeing so many complaints about this cinema, I have a few things to mention that may help. Firstly on price, yes, it is more expensive than most cinemas. The reason the price is so comparatively high is due to the quality of the business and it's offerings. Let me explain. From the moment you step through the doors into Everyman, you are transported to a world where cinema and the silver screen reign supreme. There are no obnoxious screens showing the latest A-list blockbuster which is bound to be forgotten in a few weeks. No huge displays of advertised drinks and food, instead, the walls are adorned with posters of movies from years gone-by. The whole affair seems far less commercial than a run-of-the-mill cinema, and this kind of decor requires upkeep which is not cheap. Secondly, the seating and arrangements within each screen. I have seen many movies at Everyman and everytime, have been treated to a comfortable viewing experience not unlike the one on offer at home. Everyman - for the duration of the movie - is your home, with people ensuring you are fed and watered via the in-screen ordering system and the bar/concession stands being tended throughout the day by some of the happiest people I have ever dealt with. Thirdly, the food and drink. Again, the prices are higher than the average due to the quality of the offerings. Everything is prepared lovingly and with due attention, and served in an aesthetically pleasing way. No dehydrated hot dogs or soggy chips will you experience here at Everyman, only good quality food and a taste sensation for the ages. Lastly, the movie itself. The screens are wonderfully maintained and the audio is second-to-none. There are no blemishes ruining the experience as has often happened at Cineworld and the like, instead, the screen glows with the only thing it should, the movie you paid to see. Everyman combines the feel of a by-gone era, with modern technology and a comfortable 'at-home' feeling to deliver the best cinema experience you will ever have, would you come here for every movie you see? No, because it's not THAT kind of cinema. It's a cinema to be enjoyed like a good whiskey or a good cheese, special occasions only made more special by being held here. Whether it is your anniversary, birthday or date-night, Everyman has you covered - trust me on that one.
