Hyde Park Book club is a Tardis! From the road side you see what looks like a smallish diner style cafe. When you get inside you’ll find a cafe selling delicious vegan food. The next room is a bottle shop and small performance space. In this room you’ll also find books you can buy on a range of interesting topics. Next there is a small fancy dress shop, a scaled back version of the fancy dress shop that was here before it became the Hyde Park Book club. Down stairs the space continues with another slightly larger performance space. In the summer they also use the parking lot area for outdoor seating. So it’s actually pretty big! I believe the food is all vegan. The vegan sausages are really brilliant! The coffee was good. Outside, I noticed the sign said dog friendly which is always a positive because I have a little pooch. All in all a really great space, a huge range of functions and lots of events throughout the week. Great food and good coffee.

Been before but on this occasion came especially to eat. Coffee excellent but latte was very small. Ordered vegan Burger and vegan chicken sandwich with sides of hash brown & home made slaw. Burger very good. Chick sandwich good. Hash browns anaemic and needed cooking longer and slaw was just about past its best but could tell was probably excellent when fresh. Only real negative point was long haired chap took his jumper off and then subsequently scratched his back shoulders and belly and chest underneath T-shirt before cracking on with a coffee and food order. Luckily not ours or would have not accepted it. Overall good.

Small little place service was very bad, one of the staff members a young man very arrogant and cheeky. Food was overpriced for what you got and if you go don’t order the chicken vegan sandwich came out like dog meat, and was not eatable. Over all will not be back terrible experience.

Delicious food and drink in a very cozy and comfortable area. The staff are very understanding and can alter any meals to fit the requirements and there's lots of love music and events going on.

Exceptionally slow service and brunch consisted of a piece of white bread with raw spinach and a slice of avocado...not worth £6...refunded the £6!
