Take a moment to consider the conditions under which these heroes worked.
Hi it is to much for one visit & well worth it
Part of Bletchley Park Hut 8 tells the story of breaking German signal codes in WW2. Alan Turing's office is in this hut. A great deal more to see across the site.
Very interesting place. Will have to come back to finnish it.
This is just one feature of Bletchley Park. A very atmospheric place making you feel as though you were still in war time. Need more than one visit to take it all in. Well worth visiting. I expected it to be a more technical museum but lots of social history to keep me happy.
Phenomenal. Cant believe we weren't taught more of this in school and so glad I can go back in the year for free as didn't get close to reading everything. Lovely setting but maybe a better café would be nice although it's not like you go for the food
Go if you can Visiting such a famous place that is still the subject of films and documentaries is almost unique A very interesting place and everything you would expect to see is there, including Alan Turing's office, which is worth the visit on its own Some good interactive exhibits which both young and old can enjoy side by side I will go again using the years free entry that comes included with initial entrance fee.
Fascinating stuff. Turing was a genius.
For a smart and interesting journey. Full of informations about code breaking during the WW II. Turing, Welchman, Knox, -just to named them-were there to protect the world in their way, using brains and knowledge. Without forget the work of so much another people less famous lot of young wives who with courage and abnegation, did this hard and hush hush work.
Each hut has it's own fascinating history, but it felt rather special to see where Alan Turing had worked.
