Great venue, lovely hall with pew seating at the back and good acoustics. Excellent bar room & loos, all very civilised. Nearly Dan were superb as usual, a great set and fantastic to hear more from The Nightfly as well as Steely Dan classics.
Nice old chapel, intimate venue, not brilliant for wheel chairs or problem walkers , but would definitely recommend it
Nice venue, not too big. Great acoustics for music gigs.
This is a beautiful building with a big difference between the outside which is modern and the amazing 19th century interior. A stunning concert venue.
Lovely venue. Intimate and cosy. We went to see Seth Lakeman. It's the perfect hall for a folk artist. Great view and nice acoustics!
Fantastic venue but tonight 8/12/22 if was blinkin cold there. We've been to HH loads of times and always have a fantastic experience. Tonight we went to see Cara Dillon Irish folk type group. Brilliant. Sounded fantastic. Them of the song really put into the Christmas spirit. Venue decked out really christmasy. Loved it.
Great venue, small with good acoustics and a personal feel. Upstairs bar for before and interval refteshment, toilets up and downstairs. All in all an essential local venue. P.S. I was there for the show pictured today Albert Lee who is such an entertainer and fabulous player.
Seats are not very comfortable they are mostly Church pews it being a old Chapel.. Acustics are good though
My first visit here and what a beautiful place set in what I presume was a Chapel, pues and boxes surround the stalls and a gallery finishes the seating plan .There's a bar which was busy and staff were friendly and helpful. Jenny Eclair was on stage doing her thing and was so funny .Her language put me to shame and that's not easy . Jenny certainly entertained the full house with her wit and observations and everyone left with a smile on there faces .Parking isn't great ,but there is a multi storey about a 5 minute or so walk away.
Beautiful building, cracking venue, great staff.
