Grubby, poorly laid out shop and not friendly.  Assume there must have been different staff in for the other reviewers. No acknowledgment to me or other customers entering the shop and the two older male staff (owner? who knows) barely looked at me until I was stood right in front of the counter. Not exactly rude just offhand.   Also expensive and no prices on the special sweets/chocolates behind the counter so you have to ask.  Changed the price twice whilst serving me and when I queried made me feel uncomfortable for asking.  Family with small child came in and the man serving me was watching the child like a hawk and ignoring me.  Definitely no smiles and I came out feeling very disgruntled.  Not likely to visit again.

I love this sweet shop!! It takes me back to my childhood. There are very fine chocolates and sweets on offer as well as penny sweets. Really really friendly too. Don't forget to pop in when you are next in Romsey.
