Hui

My boyfriend and I both love sushi and a friend recommended Hui. It was Valentines day and I know they were busy. Our order didn't arrive as planned but the lady on the phone was supper helpful and resolved it immediately. We got amazing, delicious and freshly made sushi and both were very happy. Great customer service too. Will order again.

Great service from the lady at the counter! Food was ok but it was still an excellent quality for price. Really convenient if you want a quick takeaway, but I recommend ordering in advance if possible to avoid long waits.Food: 4/5

Once again Hui don't fail to deliver! Food arrived very quickly, piping hot and delicious as always...salt n pepper chips had soo much garlic We ordered very late at night but not an issue.

Disgusting, rude woman who won't bother resolving issues.... Update, it is definitely your shop... easy to not take ownership and pass on the blame. Funny how every negative review "oh its another shop... we all know its you, the one at Roseburn Terrace.

This is the best take away in Edinburgh. I unfortunate live far it they always deliver and its hot. The quality of meat, fish, vegetables and sauces are incredible. I cannot fault this place. I have a refined pallette, so when HUI is closed. I become stressed and can't find another Chinese restaurant of this quality. The stars should be 5..... HUI PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE SHUT OR ON HOLIDAY. FANTASTIC

The worst customer service we have ever received!! We ordered a takeaway and when it came, the food was either not what we ordered or tasted completely different to what it should. We then called the restaurant to ask them to pick the food up or to give us compensation and the woman at the desk was the most RUDE and VILE person ever. She was shouting at us down the phone and starting an argument all because we wanted to give feedback on the food. She couldn’t talk calmly nor listen to what we had to say without shouting and swearing so needless to say we didn’t eat the food or have a refund for it. £30 wasted!

Avoid this place. Duck with orange was terrible, rice was dry and this is what they class as a veg spring roll. Not one of them had any fillings in them and when i took it back i was told by the rude lady serving that this is how the whole of Edinburgh make them! Never seen that before TBH, pastry is all i could taste. And as i was walking out i was told never to come back again! Like i would....What a lovely person, Im assuming one of the owners! You might want to learn some manners and customer service. Maybe try apologising and just offer me some alternative instead. Word of mouth goes a long way in the food industry. Would have been a quick and easy fix but now you have a bad review because of it! Great job. Keep up the good work :D

Must surely be a blip in the normally excellent standard. WTH- old and horrid tasting avocado maki. Tasted like it was made at least last week - yuck! The rubberist ever king prawns in the maki too. Only thing edible were the har kow as they have to be freshly steamed. Gonna give this place a miss for a few months. 2/10.

Over priced basic food, tasted like water and an oxo cube, avoid. In response to the reply below from the resteraunt, this was definitely the resteraunt I ordered from, I know which one I ordered from, your food was basic and poor quality, trying to worm out of a bad review by just saying I got the wrong resteraunt with no explanation on how u came to this conclusion is pathetic. You make basic food, please do not blame and patronise your customers when they rate it badly.
