I had a great experience at HSS, largely due to the exceptional service provided by David. He was very friendly, approachable, and went out of his way to ensure that I had the information I required. Overall, I highly recommend this place for especially for a power-flush machine. You will get professional grade equipment, well kept and neatly handed over by the pleasant staff coiled and zip tied. Quick and easy, no hassle.
Horrible service!!!! I went there to hire two step ladders, they asked me for 200£ deposit, when I gave them my card, they said the deposit doesn’t go through, but the money went out from my bank account twice !!!. They started saying that it’s my bank fault I use HSBC the girl at reception was extremely rude, she didn’t apologize nor give me any other option. Just said that the money will get back in 5 working days. Absolutely don’t recommend this branch!
Good customer service and a good price! Hired out a Hilti TE 300 breaker to demolish some steps. Did the job in a few hours!!
Slowly confusing the website gives you one price then you pay triple that on collection but got my coin back in the end and all happy days.
Used HSS a few weeks ago to hire a cement mixer. Great experience! The mixer worked well, was in great condition and helped us get the job done. Had it for over a week and the whole process was easy. Have used them before and will use them again. Thanks HSS
Super convenient place to hire building equipment. Slightly pricier but did the job.
Great service. We booked a pressure washer for the weekend but somehow the website didn't register my "delivery" click and went down as collection? Called these guys and they were happy to switch it to delivery. They dropped it off early Saturday morning, picked it up Monday noon. The pressure washer worked perfectly - our backyard looks new now. All for 30 quid.

Top end rental prices and hire in equipment when they don't stock .My advise is to find an independent one branch company and I should know as I have used Hss and independents for 40 plus years in London and the South East. The Hire of Super props are at a ridiculous rate at Hss and into the thousands for a month's rental, The independent in the low hundreds.
OK for the odd lawnmower for private hire but was overcharged on a commercial hire with duplicate bills and absolutely no-one wanting to help sort out the blatantly obvious overcharge. With all the legal threat letters I receive I honestly suspect they think with enough threats we'll pay for services we did not receive. Wrong.
