Security wouldn't let me in for a matter involving a teller. They closed 15min early. So I paid parking to watch staff small talk through a locked door, avoid eye contact while a security guard ignores eastern standard time lol do better RBC
I really don't know how HSBC get the “Best Small Business Bank in Canada” by Cosmopolitan Business Awards 2022. I completed my lengthy application on July 23rd, 2023. After called twice to custom service finally received a call from the bank on August 1st. The gentleman responsible for my file sent to a wrong email address after we spoke. I still waiting for the simple account open for my small business to this day, August 4th. NO START for HSBC. Not recommend to any small business, period.
Poor customer experience- My experience with HSBC before visiting this branch has been nothing but stellar. However, this branch needs a major customer experience surgery. Being the only branch in the London area, it's quite a drive to get to the branch and on both my visits, the staff seem to lack the willingness to serve and the knowledge of options available. The first person you talk goes to the second, who then goes to the third, they huddle for some minute and come back with a meme look telling why they can't help. I honestly pray not to have another reason to visit this branch.
I visited this bank several times, and I found my experience very satisfactory. It may not offer the fastest service, but staff are nice and willing to help. I give 4 stars because there is still room for improvement, yet it is already quite good. I have long term relationship with other Big 5, and my experience is not better than HSBC Canada in London.
This HSBC branch feels terrible! I have already applied for a new account online, and I was told to go to the bank to check the ID. Very bad and harmful service.I traveled outside Canada for one year and I did not use hsbc credit card, when I returned to Canada I found out that they destroyed my credit score 6 yers with a claim of $0.Today my wife is in the pharmacy trying to buy insulin needles for diabetes but my hsbc debit card is not working because my account is on hold for no reason despite that I have money there. The customer service refused to help and hung up on me. Anyone in Canada please keep away from this bank.
This branch advertises 24 hour ATM banking in large letters on the front of the building but they close the ATM door in the evening at random times to stop homeless people from sleeping there. If you're going to close the ATM, stop advertising 24 hour service and be clear with customers. I went into this branch last year to talk to them about this issue and so far no action. Other banks found a solution to the homeless people problem years ago, which is to have a card swipe unlock for the door so only customers can enter. Idea: invest in one of those and stop making life difficult for your customers.
It has been proven that the HSBC has funded and helped Bashar Assads regime in Syria, its also rumored yet not proven that they provide similar assistance to the North Korean regime. Do we really want monsters like HSBC in our city? They don't care about human life, or human suffering, they only care about money. They are apart of the global problem and should not be allowed to do the horrible things they do in the name of making a quick buck.
Bank is great all banks have some sorta history most American banks invested in weapons to harm brown people all over the world the criticism of HSBC is not fair all bankers going to hell according to Jesus let's be real here guys bank of America etc took allot of black people homes during the 2008 global financial collapse come on you guys watch a Netflix doc and all of a sudden there is hate for one bank.... HSBC is a global bank one of the few that is good in my humble opinion
tellers and financial advisors are really not friendly and they cannot do anything for you, even print out your transaction records after you deposit money. the bank should be closed.
