Went to buy sausages here after being recommended by a friend. Ended up buying more than just sausages. The joint I cooked on Sunday was the best I have tasted in years. Can’t wait to sample the other items I bought. Staff were very informative, friendly and helpful. Well worth a trip from Plymouth which I will be doing often.

Wow, brilliant butcher's, friendly helpful staff and their meat is amazing. Good to see independent butchers are still about and produce is so much better than supermarkets in my opinion.  Next time I visit Tavistock I know where to go, would definitely shop there again and well recommended.

Lovely butchers, bought some bbq holiday essentials here as we were staying close by in our caravan, had to stop by and get some more to take home as they were so delicious. We will be back

A very friendly business and the best butcher's in Tavistock

This is the most amazing butcher I travel from Plymouth why because nothing is to much for them  what ever you ask them to do they do cubed you meat de bone ect and the cooked ham is the best and the meat is not in bloody cling film and if they haven’t  enough lamb chops they cut more nothing left lying around for long  and the meat taste delicious

Today we were served by Steve who was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We had various cuts of meat one of which was steak it was absolutely one of the best steaks I have had the best being Kobe beef in Japan ,ten times the cost, Howells is a close second there was no gristle or chewy bits it just melted in the mouth.

This is the best butchers in town or anywhere else that I know of, great service and top quality meat, really friendly staff who go out of their way to help. The fillet steak is superb.
