I was recommended Howdens by Read Building Services. Well the staff have been amazing, the product is perfect, delivered on time, in budget and no missing bits. Furthermore, when I needed some additional items at 8.00am on a Saturday morning, they were on it fast and resolved. Super impressed with Howdens and the entire team, from the designer, manager and front staff. Well done!!!

Bought a kitchen from Howdens. Found them very professional, took their time to understand my needs and gave alternative to costs cheaper and more expensive which I appreciated a lot. Kitchen was delivered very quickly and the guy delivering it was extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommend
We were recommended Howdens in Beckenham by a friend who uses them regularly for his building projects. We had heard other good things about Howdens through other friends too so were keen to use them. We are really pleased with our final kitchen. We had an awkward space to fit, but we had an idea of what we wanted and Chris at Howdens was able to make it work. The good review is mainly for the customer service we had from Chris - he was really friendly, easy to deal with and very responsive when there were issues along the way. The team went out of their way to make sure things were right. The issues weren't always from Howdens either - our builders may have fitted things incorrectly. Only issues with Howdens seemed to be with the wrong products being delivered on occasion. I had heard through friends that this is an issue they have had with Howdens in general, so I wouldn't put this down to this branch, and as mentioned Chris was quick to help put things right - even if the issue wasn't caused by Howdens. We were at a point where we had to make a decision between Howdens and Wren, and we're really glad we went with Howdens. We felt Wren were a bit pushy with their tactics and a little disingenuous with their sales which was not the case at all with Howdens. So overall, highly recommend. Especially if Beckenham is your local branch or it is convenient for you.
Amazed by the levels of incompetence demonstrated by Howdens Beckenham. From design right through to delivery they made mistake after mistake. I really have no idea why they are recommended by venerable institutions such as Which. Alarm bells started ringing when we noticed their designer had missed the fact that two adjacent walls were different depths. That this happened despite him coming to measure the space seemed incredible. In consequence, just one day before the scheduled delivery, we had to make substantial changes to the original layout. It was lucky we noticed. We finally got the whole kitchen installed after 5 separate delivery attempts by Howdens. Each attempt was missing doors, units and other components. We had no less than three cooker hood units delivered - the first two completely the wrong dimensions. Before each dispatch we did our best to check their invoices were correct. However after a while it starts to feel like you're doing work that they really should be doing themselves. So, I strongly suggest you save yourself a lot of hassle and go elsewhere.
Excellent customer service. Mark is always willing to help and goes the extra mile to ensure everything is to a high standard.
I was delighted with the preparation of designing and choosing a kitchen with Howdens at Beckenham. From start to finish the service I received was second to none and the staff were always very helpful and went over and above to help with any queries. I now have a new stunning kitchen in my home.
