Having been under several other doctors before moving to Howden I cannot say how impressed I am with their service. Filled in the on line consultation form and received a phone call within the hour. The reception staff are the best I have experienced. Very kind and willing to listen or offer alternatives. Cannot praise this surgery enough. Great service in difficult times for the NHS. Thank you

I've unfortunately had to use their services a number of times over the past 4 years. I have had nothing but professional assistance, friendly welcomes, and seen the upmost care towards their patients.nnSadly, a small number of patients seem to think they have the right to prioritise themselves above others, take out thier frustrations on staff and make it difficult for those working at the Practice.nnI could not recommend Dr Harrison and all his team enough!

I haven't had the need to go to the Dr's in years lucky me but a few weeks ago I dislocated my elbow and was given a sick note from the hospital and told when it runs out I would need to get another from my own Dr. I've been dreading calling because you hear all the horror stories about receptionists but it was so easy and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Well done Howden Medical Centre

My issue is not with the staff or doctors. They are friendly and helpful when you can actually speak to one. The issue is this office is not growing with Howden's increasing population. To call at 8:30 and wait over 90 minutes to get through to a receptionist to tell us they are booked for the day and to try your luck again tomorrow is just simply unacceptable....They need to hire more staff or it will really suffer under the increasing demand of people.  *Staff are lovely though.
