We had a super day out and were made very welcome. We were given a talk on the history of the regiment. Were allowed to see and feed the horses with peppermints!We had lunch with some of the soldiers in the Cookhouse and later one of us was able to put on the uniforms. We were also shown what a modern day soldier wares into battle and the incredible amount of weight they have to carry.   All in all a very interesting day.
