Yesterday i placed and order and short after that i heard that there was a problem with the transfer. I called them and they said they would sort it and inform me. Probably within couple of minutes, everything sorted, order dispatched and i even received my order within 24 hours. Such a good company, such a good service and such a good quality packing! They are very very good. Thank you!
This is a superb Whisky Shop. They have a outstanding range at good prices and the team are all enthusiasts and love talking Whisky as I do. I enjoyed a wee complimentary sample dram while I talked with them and made my selection. I would highly recommend their tastings which I only wish I lived locally to enjoy. If you like Whisky this is a must go to. Il definately be back.
I recently purchased a voucher from the House of Malt as a 40th Birthday present for a friend. After a lot of back and forth the voucher was successfully delivered. I ordered twice from their website each time selecting that I wanted the item delivered to my friend but it didn't seem to register my request. And instead kept sending the voucher to me. In the end the team managed to send it out to my friend successfully.
A shop that will suit both those that love whiskey and want to try something not readily available and also super for anyone wanting to see if they could become a whiskey lover. Lots of choice, a huge price range , lots of advice and knowledge. Plus a cellar of white, red and sparkling wines. A lovely shop you can spend time in without any pressure. Parking just behind, in Carlisle that's an added bonus
Scam website. Partner purchased a $250 bottle of whisky and the product still had not been delivered after a couple of weeks so he emailed requesting an update. They said due to him not telling them earlier they cannot do anything. They did not deliver what was purchased and have refused to provide proof of delivery, a refund or re ship the product.
Excellent service from House of Malt and DPD. Made an order at 1530 hours and it was delivered free of charge arriving next day at 0840 hours. Very competitively priced compared to some of the other bigger on line retailers. Well done all round. Highly recommended.
Very bad experience with House of malt. I order blue label on January 18. I didn't get my delivery until now, when i contacted house of malt they said they delivered on exact building. But i am just asking without my ID how are they delivering alcohol?
I was looking for something different to take to a Gin tasting evening, the man who served me was very helpful and knowledgable about all the products in his store and gave advice on what mixers went best with each product. So much to choose from Gin, Vodka and whisky with lots of flavours. I purchased a bottle of Moonshot Gin for £30 should have been £35 which was lovely and no-one else had it at the gin tasting. Would highly recommend this store.
Never know shipping and postage like FANTASTIC. Great service and prices too
