My cat collapsed suddenly at home no history of health issues when called thus vet as his registered with him they said they couldn't help.... There wasn't a vet on site TODAY I could take him to the blackmore branch. This is a 20 minutes drive where my cat needed immediate treatment... they said to call best friends surgery and it's sounds like your cat won't make it... although yes there was a very high chance this would happened and it did I expect my own registered vet to be more caring a senior nurse at the very least should be on site and would have been able to handle a very distressing and situation if only to try some basic cpr. He was still breathing albeit laboured and with difficulty. I shall now be moving the registration of my remaining 3 cats to another practice. Best friends surgery were amazing.... There was nothing that could have been done for my boy but they tried and have been exceptional in handling all the arrangements since without even invoicing me yet..... almost a week later

The reception staff are really lovely and my dog loves them. But I have been 3 times over the 3 weeks and have been given 3 different advice. None of which have helped my dog. One vet, approached my dog with the clippers to shave my dogs fur on, she was scared out of her mind. Might be best to not approach a dog with them on. Turn them on when near the fur.
