Run down, always has fare jumpers pushing behind you when you use the double barrier , station smelt of cigarette smoke, no access via lift which is strange as its in an ideal location for high street. Picadilly line is terrible in general always has delays.
This station has no disabled access to the platforms only stairs toilets are available in the station. The ticket hall is small and only four ticket barriers to use. Station was a bit busy with customers.
Nice enough, toilets, no lift or step free access however, platform has a walled waiting area, with no roof. Great views of the platform, station serves the picadilliy line.
A station on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly Line. It is around a 3-5 minute walk from Hounslow town centre and Hounslow Council's Hounslow House headquarters. It is also very close to at least 3 hotels on the Lampton Road.nnThe entrance and ticket hall are quite small, there are only 4 ticket gates. I find that station staff are only visible on the floor during the morning 'rush hour' period. Seemingly, there is a problem with fare evasion at this station as ticket inspectors and British Transport Police are here frequently.nnThe platforms are above ground level, there is a steep set of stairs to access the platforms. There are no lifts in this station, so it is hard work for those with luggage or baby buggys to carry those items up or down the stairs.nnThere are two platforms on a single island. Around half the the length of the island has a roof to shelter passengers from rain. However, as the platforms are above ground level, it can be a bit breezy at certain times during the year; don't stand too close to the edge!nnThe eastbound trains will be busy at certain points throughout the day due to people already on the train from Heathrow Airport.nnA useful station if you work or shop in and around Hounslow town centre.
