Great hotel right on the river. Nice bar and good food. A fantastic weekend stay for friend's 40th anniversary party. A great function room/suite newly refurbished giving a nice atmosphere. Well patronized by the locals as well which can only be a good thing. Great balcony room again just refurbished. Go on give it a try.

Superbly friendly, courteous and efficient staff.
Specially the charming young lady at reception. 
Bar staff are on the ball, despite being under pressure from conflicting needs - like cakes and complex coffee orders from old ladies who do not know what they want, 
to uncomplicated old chaps like me who only require a very simple quick pint of beer.
No multi-component drinks, straws, umbrellas, cherries or other paraphernalia .. Just a pint!
Beer is too expensive. £4 for a pint of ordinaire is a tad heavy.
Captive audience, I suppose?
The receptionist was worth a whole ⭐ on her own!

What a lovely hotel and venue, the staff are all very friendly and happy. When sitting at the bar unexpectedly fresh sandwiches and nibbles were bought round by the staff. On reception Wendy and Kia couldn't of been of more help and such a lovely welcome from them. Kia walked me to my room and offered to help me with my bags. It has a beautiful view from the bar /breakfast area. I would stay here again. Thank you:)

Beautiful surroundings. We had my Grandads Wake there. Good quality food. Loved the fish and chips in the little bucket. Friendly staff. Ample Free parking.

Only went for lunch, but food was lovely pricing was good and staff were also lovely. Manegeress seemed a little tense and needed to relax but other than that a really pleasant meal
