I really wanted to taste their hot chocolate so I got a large hazelnut one with cocoa whip. I loved the cocoa whip, it was really soft and delicious, but I found the chocolate quite liquidy and sour. I expected it to be thicker and to have some sweetness, but that wasn’t the case. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it isn’t for me. Next time I’ll try one of their shakes, as I’m sure I’ll love a sweeter product as the hazelnut flavour itself was quite good
Everything negative. I have went to many stores but here what I get is pure negativity in drink and vibes. This is what I got for adding cocoa whip for additional amount on hot chocolate. Half drink with small cocoa foam on top.Food: 1/5
I am a big fan of Hotel Chocolat, but I believe there is a significant issue with the service at the Liverpool branch. This is not the first time I have encountered this problem. I ordered a chocolate shake, which usually comes with cocoa whip on top. However, this time, there was nothing on top, and the staff did not mention anything about it. When I inquired, the response was rather rude, stating that the machine was broken. I have visited many other branches, and I recall that the Leeds branch would inform me about such issues before I made the payment. It feels disappointing to pay the full price but not receive what I expected.
House of chocolate but many options were not available 100% dark, 85% dark both unavailable. Settled for dark-chilli hot chocolate with 70% dark chocolate… was just ok, I have had better ones before.. Service was friendly and very good ambiance!
Heaven for a chocolate lover! Absolutely brilliant chocolate is served here. We had the Billionaire's Sundae, 85% Dark choco shake and Coconut White choco shake. The drinks and the sundae tasted so good and rich! The staff was very nice as well. Absolutely recommended
Hello neighbour. I work at the hotel Chocolate at Cheshire Oaks and I went to visit your store just recently. Buying three different items I was served by the very charming Joel. I also bumped into one of my colleagues who was helping you out. She was doing a great job as she always does at Cheshire Oaks. I love how cosy and cute your shop interior is and how welcoming the atmosphere is. Do tell your manager that we all say high and that we all think she is doing a fantastic job. Vegetarian options: Hotel Chocolats products are all plant based and are all grown on the island of Saint Lucia from cocoa beans. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and there is plenty of room for wheelchair based individuals to enter and leave the establishment.
Love this shop. I had a fabulous milkshake and then shopped using my birthday treat voucher on the VIP app and bought some great chocolates and received excellent helpful and friendly service from Lisa. Thank you as you made my birthday day special Food: 5/5
Birthday voucher is good manager was nice by the chocolate selections with 4 for £16 offer explained as a v.i.p member. Staff member at the till could be abit friendlier no last impression skills..when you can see its been a birthday...no non business chatter like the manager....visited 9/4 about half 12. Manager said bye hope you had a nice birthday again initiated the friendliness.
Safe to say that these do the best Lattes in Liverpool City Centre! This was my 1st visit and certainly won't be my last as I now have a VIP card to get money off on my future visits. My mum really enjoyed her cup of English breakfast tea too. Only request from her was to have white sugar as an option.
Have visited here a few times and I'm sad to say considering the fact that this a chocolate 'hotel' the hot chocolate leaves me wanting, more hot chocolate, and considering the fact that there was no classic or milk chocolate available and I had to have a dark and still all I could taste was milk, i wanted a hot chocolate not a hot milk!!! The layout of the shop could do with a refresh/update, considering its location I would have thought it would a bit more lighter and cheery I would like to end on a really positive noted, the staff were friendly, and apologetic, and the brownie was absolutely divine
