The majority of the menu will often leave you feeling disgusted and disappointed. Worse than this, staff are often rude. With poor body language, frozen expression and an absolute lack of any common manners, Hot Woks service truly deserves zero stars. Regardless of how much you smile, say thank you or please, don't expect to be treated nicely at this fine establishment. If their customer service wasn't so consistently awful, I wouldn't have written this review. I intended to leave a 1 star review, however their Chicken Chow Mein is reliable, thus I've generously awarded an extra star. Hopefully Hot Wok appreciate my generosity, as they certainly don't appear to appreciate my custom. * * - Flow

Absolutely disgusting!! The worst Chinese meal I ever had (and I eat them a lot). I asked for Cantonese sweet and sour chicken. I got strips of dry, overcooked chicken on beansprouts covered in a sauce that resembled runny gravy!! If I wasn't in such a hurry I would have taken it back and tipped it over their head. I managed half and couldn't stomach any more.

A bit hit and miss sometimes food will be really nice sometimes it will be very tasteless and not enjoyable like tonight rice was not nice at all and the chowmein wasn't great either.

Used to be great now dearer and more stingy. Fish and chips are quite good but best go elsewhere for Chinese. Will deliver fish and chips for a small fee
