Great traditional garage. I’ve used Horocks since I moved to selby about a two years ago and they’ve never let me down. Took my Discovery this morning without an appointment. It needed a wheel bearing replaced. They replaced it same day at a competitive price.

This was the first time I've used them although my regular garage takes my car to them for the MOT. I found them very friendly and helpful.

I have used this garage since I first moved to Selby in 2003 and they have always done decent work and charged fair prices. They are proper mechanics who will carry out actual repairs if appropriate rather than just replace a part. In recent years I have had a high performance sports car which needs specialist attention for certain jobs, so I hadn't been here much. However, I recently took it in to them to drill out a stud to enable the exhaust manifold to be replaced. It was a tricky problem (as the stud in question was very close to an oilway) and they did a first class job with it. Recommended.

terrible service. went in for new clutch and car came out worse. got trading standards involved after the garage refused to take blame, told me i would have to buy a new clutch and pay for it fitting if i wanted it fixing. a clutch does not break a day after a 'new' one been fitted. trading standards said the gearbox hadnt even been taken off and all they had done is tighten the cable to make it feel like it had been done. will never recommend these to anyone.
