Firstly, we were waiting in the queue, it seemed like the staff were not sure what they were doing so waited until, they called us over. Then informed us that we would only go there to order hot food. So I processed to order my hot food, requested for a late £2. 95, got a children's box, £5.75, chips, nuggets and peas for £ 6.95 then a pot of ketchup 20p. I wanted an egg bun and chips. The lady serving me, was being very rude and unhelpful, repeated so many times that they didn't have that. I had seen someone eating what I was requesting, she kept on repeating that they don't do that... She was making me feel very uneasy as I just wanted to order hot food.. then she told me maybe I can move on and come back because she has other people waiting.... Woman wait a minute,I'm sorry not like we didn't wait almost 5 minutes before you decided who was going to serve us... I got really annoyed and moved on. To the next part of your oder being the part you pay. So I explained to the man that her staff is rude and has zero customer service skills. So he was able to put the order through. And my meal of 2 fried eggs in a bun and chips came to £8.00 my whole bill came to a whopping £27.00- not happy at all They have to be the worst cafe ever With the worst service ever With very terrible pricey food Lastly my latte was cold
Overpriced food, which tasted average at best. Forgot my partners order so had to wait double the time. Not very welcoming, and had a pigeon flying around Inside. Also the chicken nuggets and chips comes with 3 nuggets and a plate of undercooked chips. Wouldn’t recommend.
A bustling cafe where the priority at the weekend is grabbing a table. There's a good range of savoury and sweet offerings and everything is tasty, arrives quickly and isn't too expensive. What's not to like?!!Food: 4/5
Unfortunately very disappointed. No sandwiches left at 1pm on a Friday. Paid £8 for a jacket potato that was edible but not very hot. Service not very friendly and seating outside in a tent with the pigeons.
Lovely range of food, lovely setting, especially when the weather permits and you can sit outside. Lots of mums and buggies which can make it snug sometimes. Good brunch and lunches, hot and cold. My hot choices were a bit tepid on this occassion. Great staff too.
Avoid this place when it's busy. Probably the worst Eggs "Royale" I've ever eaten. Canned salmon on sponges with weird tasting hollandaise, more "like oh my days"..Food: 2/5
One of the best places for everybody, so much to see and do for all ages, aquarium closed not as busy as usual due to caronavirus but stiff very good.
Lovely space with indoor and outdoor seating. We only had drinks but the cakes looked superb. If we weren't going on to lunch we would definitely have eaten several!
Cramped, pretty rude service and food. Was cold.Food: 1/5
Lots of different things to look at. Wheelchair and buggy accessible although buggies not allowed into the Butterfly Garden. There are cafes but much cheaper to bring your own food and drink. Ice creams are tasty.
