Popped in originally looking for a suit, left with probably the best Lock &Co Homburg that was in the window and my size. Some prices aren't cheap, but when you consider the items available are of top quality. There's bargains to be had if you go with an open mind. Staff were very helpful, took my measurements,so if something comes in , you never know. That's the beauty of this Gem of a shop

Lovely store, beautiful collection of vintage suits, shoes and even morning dress. The owner is very helpful and really kind.
Hornets is amazing, there is no where like it, it is the best, the top of it’s game. I have known it since I was a student, that’s fourteen years, in that time it’s gone from strength to strength, I know vintage shops in London and there is nowhere like Hornets. One can easily get kitted out for Ascot to country weekends from here. The shop is full of classic and designer jackets, shoes and hats, and also, everything to bespoke and high end designers. Chris, Orlando, Mark and David are all extremely helpful, charming and have knowledge. International designers and stylists use Hornets for research and ideas and love it’s very English ‘shabby chic’ decor. Buying or selling it’s the best.

An absolute goldmine of gorgeous vintage menswear, I can't wait to visit again. Cannot recommend it highly enough, great prices. Best of all, incredibly helpful friendly service from the gentleman with the lustrous white beard, what an absolute star! Thanks for a brilliant shopping experience, you have definitely gained a new fan.
Made a pilgrimage to this location and I must confess... It was way better than I had expected. The shop owner is an amazing guy and the selection is filled with gems that I wish I had both the budget and the luggage space for.
I went there to sell a couple of luxury items, without knowing the place before, I only looked at photos from the Internet, I was disappointed to see that the place is long beyond its glory days, it may have been a great place in the past, but what I saw was a shop overstocked with dusty items, dust was sitting on top of everything, lots of jackets but not luxury or classic, the floor covered with an old dusty and tired rug.. I didn't end up selling my items there, as clearly the business wasn't the correct place for the items I came with.. I will end up selling on Ebay I think.
