I have been in a week today.

I really don’t get the poor reviews.  

Alison in sales has been great from start to finish with no hard sales technique.  Once the holding deposit was taken she called every week to update us.  Alison explained the buying procedure and answered all questions. 

That’s sales.

As for aftercare, it’s been amazing we’ve had one or two little issues and a big one tonight all fixed quickly efficiently and this is all down to John and his team being on the ball, efficient and honest.  Enough positive stuff cannot be said to highlight how good him his team are. 

Layout and build. Yup there’s been little snags and one major one but we are the first up and to be honest, I would expect a few niggles brand new.  It won’t be perfect because a house needs to be lived in to find its faults. One issue with W layout and that’s no direct access to the car park that backs onto our garden, we have to walk all the way round, but we will be looking to get this issue sorted. The rest of the layout has been fine thus far.

So yeah, well deserved 5* at Millers place, the team are awesome... so far 👍🏻

Well it's no surprise to see how poor your reviews are after being very poorly treated with the sale of my new home. I feel very let down as nobody from Hopkins Homes has contacted me within the two weeks leading up to completion. I have not been given any information nor have i been given the opportunity to inspect the house despite huge attempts to arrange this. I get the keys to my house tomorrow  (Friday 15th September 2017) and that is all i seem to have been told (which was two weeks ago.

I own two businesses and i know how important it is to return calls and keep clients in the loop so i can't understand this poor level of service when purchasing one of the largest assets in life. Words cost nothing and a call takes 5 minutes so i hope your staff pick up on this as it does not seem to be reflected in your reviews....

I write this to warn any future owners of Hopkins Homes that the image they project bears no relation to their post-purchase behaviour. I would trade the champagne recipe sculpture for common decency.

I own two Hopkins properties and cannot accept that I am not worthy of at least an acknowledgment to a registered personally addressed letter to James Hopkins. The matter of concern involved the solution to a blocking and non-effective sewage system; the  excavation to ground works  in my garden, on four separate  occasions, caused disruption, inconvenience and noise annoyance. I am a writer working from home.

None of this has been acknowledged. Different members of Hopkins workers have wandered onto my property without identifying themselves, without explanation and devoid of even the lowest level of politeness.

Forget their official complaints personnel; the head supplied the information that no problem existed:  two further excavations were  carried out after this 'informed' assessment!

The courtesy of a response seems a minimal expectation when you have bought a house the sewage system of which it can legitimately be deduced was never 'fit for purpose'.

Bricks spalling, render rough/stained, windows only have undercoat on, keep getting fobbed off, poor after service.

Writing this on behalf of my parents: "Very disappointed with the sales team. Went to go look at a property listed on Rightmove that was at the very top end of our budget. When we arrived we were told that the property had not yet been built, but were shown brochures of other complete properties that were £40,000 over our budget. After explaining that these properties were too expensive, we were told by the sales agent that it was OK as 'we can bring it down to the price' of the top end of our budget. After looking around the property, we fell in love with it and discussed the procedure of deposits and how she would contact her manager just to make sure they were OK with us purchasing the house at the price she agreed. We were then told the following day that the Director wouldn't allow it and our offer had to be nearer to the asking price. We are very upset with the sales agent for wasting our time showing us a property that she knew we couldn't afford but lead us to believe that we could."
