Hard to add anything the other reviewers haven't already said - this is a really impressive village shop, not just a place you'd settle for out of convenience but somewhere I could imagine very happily shopping at on a regular basis if I lived in the area. The range of products covered is very comprehensive, and the focus on interesting, quality locally sourced items is also really commendable. Also I thought the prices were very fair, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great shop with everything you need. Wide range of delicious produce including Shepherds' ice cream, Neil's Yard cheeses, lots of fair trade and organic options and newspapers, cards and household items.

I love visiting this shop each year when I come to stay in Walterston. The people working there are so friendly and lovely, add that to the array of choices (mostly all ethical products) and this place has everything you could need. The cherry on the cake for me is that they stock a very wide selection of vegan friendly foods that's usually so difficult to find in other shops and supermarkets

Amazing little village store. Everything you would expect and more on offer. Particularly liked the freshly baked cakes and bread. Locally sourced items available amongst the usual.

Amazingly well stocked village shop (and post office) offering everything from household staples and food basics to good local meat and bread, great jams, chutneys, kippers, etc. You name it and they've got it. Really friendly people too.
