I ordered lots of Laurel hedging 10 months ago and they arrived next day 2 days early and without warning from the courier, but through no fault of the nursery. I'd prepared the ground in advance thanks to the excellent guide available on the website. The same guide came with the order. Due to the volume of plants I had to heel in most of them for a week. Planted them all successfully along with a soaker hose and every single one has survived. I ordered 10% more than needed in case of failures so I've now used them elsewhere which was a bonus. Plants are obviously well cared for and healthy before being dispatched. Delighted with the results and would not hesitate to order from Hopes Grove Nurseries again
Ordered 50 yew hedging plants in September which were delivered yesterday as expected. The plants look really strong with very good roots. Have just finished planting them before the rain set in! First time I have used Hopes Grove and would not hesitate to use again.

Super plants in great condition on arrival. I ordered 30 shrubs and grasses-my first venture into online plant ordering after much research to find a good supplier. I wasn't disappointed. All the plants were well packaged and labelled and on planting all found to have really healthy root systems. I now have an order for 100+ bare root shrubs to make a hedge and I'm confident that they'll be in great shape too.
I have today received my order of Laurel hedging which is now planted and well watered in. I am very pleased with my order although this is not the first time that I have used this company so I knew the plants would be excellent. They arrived well packaged and also well watered. Each plant had an excellent root system so I know they will eventually make a fantastic hedge just like the Laurel hedge that I planted from Hopes Grove Nurseries about fifteen years ago. I have also had other hedgibg plants and all have been of a very high quality. Thank you for the great service and the fantastic plants.
Had to change delivery address due to lockdown and it was not an issue. My email was returned by a phone call and order arrived on time. Good quality plants and excellent packaging. Will definitely use them again.
We've bought two lots of hedging from hopes grove nurseries. The first was for a number of more nature hedging rootball plants for an 'instant' hedging effect, with our last order being for bare root privet hedging plants. On both occasions the quality of the hedging has been excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with the bare root plants. All of them were budding/healthy and no signs of any failures after planting, which was 70 plants and a few weeks on from planting now. Also, the aftersales updates with respect to deliveries was comprehensive. Highly recommended
Excellent Service From Telephone Order Through To Delivery. My plants, Euonymus Marieke, are very healthy and arrived safely within the days stated. Thankfully I was able to plant them the same day and they look lovely. The website is very informative and was a tremendous help to me. I have already recommended the company to my friends. My order of rose hedging arrived on time as promised. Well packed. Huge root system on each rose, I can't see how they can fail with roots like this. And so much cheaper than most nurseries. ADDENDUM As expected, they plants grew quickly and are strong roses now. Every one excellent, gave a really good show all summer, and good hips now. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
