Always friendly and informed service from Colin and Sam. Occasional ear wax removal is good value, painless and, for me, fully effective! Recommended.

My wife has had poor hearing for a few years and recently lost virtually all hearing in one ear. She was worried as her mother had be plagued with ear infections after some botched ear syringing in her doctor's surgery. As my wife's hearing was so bad and I had to repeat everything many times I got completely fed up and made an appointment at the Honiton Hearing Centre. I told my wife "She was going" After a nervous night and drive to Honiton we arrived and were cheerfully welcomed by Sam and Colin who immediately put my wife at ease. By using the computer screen Colin was able to show the wax in my wife's ears. One partially blocked and the other totally. Within 15 minutes both ears were cleared without any discomfort. A really happy wife who now has her hearing fully restored. She is over the moon. Only trouble is that she keeps telling me not to shout.....Brilliant service highly recommended.

I have had a moderate to severe hearing loss for over 35 years and have had NHS hearing aids as well as private ones from several different firms. I moved to Devon and consulted Colin to see if he could improve on the private aids I was using which were not very much better than the NHS ones even though when I purchased them a couple of years previously they were top of the range. I was very impressed at the first consultation for many reasons. He looked at my audiogram and the existing aids I was using and said he could improve. Having seen many different audiologists over a very long period I can say with confidence that he is in a different league. As well as being an expert in his field he is independent and therefore not tied in to any one particular manufacturer . This means he is able to choose from the whole range of aids available taking account of budget and suitability. I had Oticon aids fitted a little over a year ago and am absolutely delighted with them. Listening to conversation, especially when in a car, was very difficult and now I can hear incredibly well. They have made a huge difference to my life. Once your aids have been fitted that is not the end of the story as the aftercare service is first class.
